Simoneau Photography has been serving the Volusia County since 1983. They are a full service studio that is willing to accommodate most reasonable requests. Even in this day of do it yourself and digital photos they still provide a vital service. On entering the studio one is struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. Decorated in rich, muted tones the elegant interior is in sharp contrast to the busy, hip mall strip where it is located. They specialize in portraits and their walls are decorated with various ones that have been taken throughout the years. Some of their specialties include seniors, families, pets, businesses and weddings. On major holidays they tend to get quite busy so reservations are a definite must. Each year Simoneau provides a special package to high school seniors. Several years ago my daughter graduated and took the package. She commented on how caring and flexible the photographer was and waited with eager anticipation to get the proofs. However, when they came back she was dissatisfied with some of the pictures, but figured she had to accept it. When I called the studios with my concerns they were very apologetic and immediately made an appointment to have her come to the office and redo them. In fact, they took more than the required amount to make sure she would be satisfied. This is the kind of professionalism and dedication Simoneau is known for. They go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. GlobalYP.net provides you with tons of local directory listings online.

Located in the center of Downtown Fenton, surrounded by beautiful buildings great for window shopping, is the gem of Michigan. Before even deciding on what to order from the friendly and helpful wait staff, ask for their famous bread sticks. Mention the word breadsticks to anyone within fifty miles of this place and their next words will be Fenton House Restaurant. On top of their amazing bread sticks this fabulous restaurant also offers delicious pizzas and mouthwatering salads. Bring the whole family, there’s a fully working arcade in the back, you can play pinball and all sorts of classic arcade games and cherish the nostalgia. Fenton House is a treat to visit anytime of the year. In the summer there is always a huge cooler of ice cold water by the entrance awaiting any downtown window shoppers or dog walkers. In the colder months the breadsticks and handmade pizzas will warm up any natives or the always welcome out of state visitor. Visit on any game day and you’re bound to find a crowd of eager friendly fans watching the game on one of the restaurant’s large flat screen TVs, this adds to the restaurant’s hometown feel. In the approximately 200 miles between Knoxville, Tennessee and Nashville, Tennessee there isn’t exactly a booming metropolis or even a hotbed of activity inasmuch as several quaint little towns simmering with Southern charm. However, moving into Cookeville, Tennessee, about half way between Knoxville and Nashville to attend college there, it would seem a logical conclusion that at least one used bookstore should be in the nearby vicinity. Sadly, there wasn’t a decade ago and there still isn’t. However, I eventually discovered The Book Cellar tucked adorably into a quiet little shopping center only thirty miles away in Crossville, Tennessee. Finally, there was a place a college kid could go to find well kept books without having to take out another student loan just for a paperback or two! Books are expensive, but the Book Cellar doesn’t hurt so much. The Book Cellar has apparently been in Crossville for many, many years, but they have managed to retain the charm and the enchantment that literally opens its doors in warm invitation. Most of the inventory is of the paperback variety, but there is much more than just a stack of paperback romance novels. At the Book Cellar, there isn’t a genre omitted and there is even a growing availability of magazines and other periodicals. Need a reference book or even a textbook? How about the classics or a tome of poetry for a literature class? Or, as even post-collegiate folks will attest, there are a zillion different worlds to which escape is a welcome treat. They’re all at the Book Cellar, too! If you’re having problems finding something, the staff knows just where it is, but more than likely, you’ll find more than you even knew you were looking for. 4 Guys and a Roof boast that they do every roof as if it were their own. I will be the first to say that I can attest to the truth in this statement. If you disagree, they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. A year ago, we contracted 4 Guys and a Roof to do the roof on our house and garage. We hired them after filing an insurance claim due to damage done to our roof after a storm. The insurance company and the mortgage company kept having paperwork issues. Jamie, from 4 Guys and a Roof, had to contact the companies to get some paperwork pushed through. He was so kind to do legwork that was not his error or responsibility. He was very kind and patient with the entire process. Our roof needed a complete tear off, which included all the wood needing to be replaced. The estimate was the most reasonable for the high quality of work we could find. The high quality of the work was further demonstrated on the day of construction. They estimated a complete tear off may take 2-3 days. The men had the entire roof on the house and the garage finished in 14 hours! The men were constantly working and if they stopped for lunch you would never have known it. They worked in a professional and highly organized manner. The clean up was remarkable! We did not find one roof nail in our yard or the surrounding yards. In fact, if I am not mistaken, the outside of my house was cleaner after they left than before they arrived. They even threw my trash from by my garage away in their dumpster. Within a few days, the manager came out to inspect the work and ensure my satisfaction. I cannot imagine hiring anyone else for a roofing need. You cannot beat the price and quality you will get from 4 Guys and a Roof. Get local listings online at globalYP.net.
I come to St Louis often and am an avid sports fan. When I can’t actually go to a Cardinals, Rams, or Blues games I almost always go to the St Louis Sports Zone. The St Louis Sports Zone has everything any true sports fan would want. It’s huge and has countless large TVs for its customers to watch. The staff is very nice and accommodating. In my experience with sports bars, the beer is overpriced and the food is mediocre. Not at this place. I actually crave the food of the St Louis Sports Zone. Plus, on weeknights they have amazing drink specials. There is also a huge patio in the back with a great atmosphere during the warmer months. However, my personal favorite feature is the free WI-FI. I play fantasy football, and having a computer there helps me stay up to date on my current fantasy matchup. My friends and I love to go here with one computer and watch all of the football games on their countless TVs. I highly recommend a trip to this place! It blows any sports bar I have been to out of the water. Stop by globalYP.net to find local business listings online.
Clifton’s Pizza is a locally owned Italian based restaurant located in the east side of Louisville, KY. They are known for their famous calzones. These calzones can be compared to the size of a football, you can have up to 7 “pizza toppings” of your choice in the calzones and the pricing is more than reasonable. They do have more than calzones; they have a big variety of homemade Italian dishes including pizza, spaghetti, lasagna and more. They are one of the only places in that part of town that has hours that accommodate the majority of the Louisville population. It’s a really fun place to visit for all people as on the weekends and even during the week they have live entertainment while you eat. Entertainment includes live bands, stand up comedians, and even jazz bands. It’s very vintage inside and there are a lot of local magazines and papers for you to enjoy, free of charge, to keep you busy while waiting on your order. This not only helps you enjoy your time, but keeps you up to date with all of the local happenings around town. Every since going to this place for the first time over 10 years ago, I will never again go anywhere other than Clifton’s when having a craving for a calzone. The Allen family that runs Green Biz Garden Center in Fayetteville, NC has been at it for over 25 years and it shows. The location is perfect for a quick trip. They provide landscaping services for residential and businesses at a fair, competitive price. They also have opened a new retail center to provide the same outdoor landscaping tools for anyone right at their location. They have everything you would find at a big box retail center, but you can be assured of your purchase thanks to Charles and his family! From trees of every stripe to small shrubs and flowers, Green Biz Garden Center can get you what you need. They now offer unique services online with videos and other helpful hints on their website. They announce specials, showcase their many residential and business projects, and highlight the expertise available. I have bought from them many times and will be back out to the south end of town again to patronize Green Biz Garden Center. If you’re looking for a garden center near you, or a pet store, shoe shop, dentist or anything else, find it faster with globalYP.net, an easy to use online directory that’s filled with local listings online.
The Happy Village, located in an eclectic neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, is a great stop for a couple on their first date, a group of friends looking to play some ping pong, or perhaps to sit out in the garden and enjoy nature. Not only is the tavern located in a great area of Chicago, it is well off the beaten path. The beer garden is by far is best feature (at least to me!), with the coy pond and the grape vines over head it gives a country feel right in the big city. Nice year round, the beer garden features a large tent offering protection from the weather and the wind. For those of us who still smoke when we drink, the garden is also a smoker’s oasis. Ping pong is also a big draw, but do not forget the two drink minimum in order to play. That is a small price to pay, to be able to enjoy hours of fun. Whether you are just beginning or a seasoned professional you will enjoy your turn up at the net. The only downside is that they serve no tap beers, only bottled. Yet, the service is great and the people are nice. This is certainly a must see for those looking for some place they can hear each other talk and enjoy one another’s company. My favorite Mexican restaurant is La Casita, hands down. It is a small restaurant on the north side of Columbus, OH. They offer authentic, fresh Mexican cuisine for a fair price. The portions are large, and the food is delicious. I usually do not like guacamole, but I could eat theirs all day! It is fresh and made right there in the restaurant, as is the salsa. My favorite menu item is the burrito, because it is large, inexpensive and flavorful. The average price for an entrée is $8.00, which I consider to be very reasonable, especially considering the portions. They have a great staff that remembers you and greets you like family. They also offer live music from time to time, which adds to the atmosphere. They greet you in Spanish, and quickly offer drink, chips and salsa refills. The restaurant, although small, looks authentic. The walls are decorated with brightly colored paintings and wall hangings. It offers low lighting, which I prefer, and the small dining room eliminates much of the crowd noise created by other restaurants. On nice days, you can enjoy their newly refurbished patio, complete with a running fountain. I prefer to eat inside more times because the patio, although nice, is exposed to the din of traffic. I would highly recommend La Casita for anyone who has not yet tried it. It is my absolute favorite place to eat. Find more places to try with globalYP.net, an easy to use online directory.
Lynn’s Paradise Café is a very unique, delicious and entertaining place to eat. It’s the only one of its kind and located in Louisville, KY. The menu includes everything from grilled chicken sandwiches to oatmeal and toast. The front of the café features a gift shop/store where you can purchase an array of gifts including souvenirs, gag gifts, t-shirts and other cool novelties. The inside of the dining area of the restaurant is known for its décor, it’s very unique, outgoing and don’t be surprised if it changes most of the time. There are several different local events held there, a lot close to Derby time and it’s always decorated for the events. When there aren’t any events going on it still has the unique, wacky ways about it. The outside has huge, oversized statues of different things; you can find anything from a giant cat, to a huge tea cup with saucer and many more. The pricing on the menu is more than reasonable, especially for the delicious food they have, which not only includes lunch and dinner but breakfast as well. If anyone comes through Louisville I would suggest definitely having one meal here, not only for the food but to check out the atmosphere of the place as well.
