Last month, I made a plan to go to Modern Pastry in Boston, MA with my friends, as we all were craving sweets. I must say this was one of the best decisions I have made. Last week my kids decided to go have some dinner out for their dad’s birthday. We chose Johnny Rebs’ in Long Beach. My kids know this restaurant as “the place they can throw peanut shells on the ground”. It is a great little restaurant with great home style southern food. Once in the door, we were greeted by the manager and seated where we wanted. The walls are lined with old license plates and vintage pictures giving it a real homey feeling.
