Count On Corte Cafe For A Great Slice In New York, NY

Eating & Drinking Places

Corte Cafe is nestled in an unusual part of town for a standard pizza joint. It’s right on the border of where the city hall area meets the civic center area, but the patronage doesn’t really reflect this. You’ll find yourself eating around the same kind of normal, working people you would be around in almost any other pizzeria in the city. The fries are also worth trying here, as others have discovered. Parking can be very tough in this area so it’s best to walk, ride, or take the subway to get here before continuing your day. The pizza cooks are friendly and will usually oblige special requests. Breakfast here is served with a bevy of drink possibilities. If you’re not interested in a smoothie, there are huge coolers full of drinks to choose from. You can get a classic New York Slice here for less than 3 dollars, which is becoming harder and harder to find. If you’re looking for a great, cheap mid day rest stop while exploring downtown Manhattan and city hall, Corte Cafe is for you. They also offer delivery but they sometimes have trouble with Chinatown addresses. They are generally most busy during the lunch hour, which is typical of most downtown eateries. GlobalYP.net is better than your typical online directory.
