One word that describes the Eden Alley Cafe & Catering in Kansas City, Missouri is unique! Eden Alley is located in the basement of the Unity Temple Church in the popular Country Club Plaza. Eden Alley offers an array of vegan and vegetarian food that even a meat eater like myself finds enjoyable. I was quite skeptical when my vegetarian date took me there for my birthday, but after a bowl of Tomato Bisque, the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and Chocolate Mocha Cake, I was a believer! My date enjoyed the Sweet Potato Burrito and Cranberry Cheesecake, but it was hard for her to choose from all the wonderful choices. Not only are their entrees amazing, but they offer great gluten free, soy free, vegan desserts. Vegetarian food like Eden Alley is hard to find, created and made by a professional chef and served in a spacious unique environment, Eden Alley is an alternative to typical restaurants. The waitress was also very attentive; I ordered water to drink and they gave me a large 32oz glass and kept it full, and they regularly checked with us. The price averaged $20.00 per person and I left feeling satisfied.
