Take out Chinese food has always been a weekly staple meal no matter where I have lived over the years. Now that I live in Media, Jing Fong Chinese Restaurant has become a family tradition. Our family of four has adopted their Chinese cuisine as practically a new food group to be incorporated into our weekly diet. While our individual tastes vary, each of us is always satiated with our own selection from Jing Fong’s extensive menu. While I always get a tofu-based dish, particularly the Ma Po Bean Curd, my wife assuredly will order the fried dumplings to go with whatever chicken dish captures her attention. Our child never finds any difficulty selecting something enjoyable as well, generally opting for the quart sized beef lo mein, while his grandfather is bound to get something spicy and tangy, like the orange glazed chicken with pork fried rice and hot and sour soup. With daily specials and lunch time specials that last until 3 pm, you’re guaranteed to stretch your dollar for all it is worth. Even better, the combination meals are always a bargain and more than enough to satisfy your appetite for two meals. There are coupons available locally for even further discounts on the meal as well, not to mention that free egg rolls practically come with an order of two meals. While the food is served fast and primarily to go, don’t let that fool you into thinking that time and effort are not put into the meal. Don’t waste your effort looking through a phone book.
