The Flying Fig is by far my favorite place to eat and drink in the Cleveland, Ohio area. This place has a very large five dollar happy hour menu. The Happy Hour menu includes bleu cheese burgers, tempura green beans, pork nachos, and some of the best French fries in the world! Their drinks are also naturally included in this Happy Hour special. There are many above-average red and white wines to choose from, countless beers, and various classic and exotic cocktails. If you are lucky enough to make it into this place at happy hour – it’s usually pack – I highly recommend the bleu cheese burger, nachos, and some fries. If you miss happy hour don’t worry, their normal dining selection is also amazing. (It’ll just cost you a little more.) I would recommend their amazing seared scallops. Nevertheless, I would not recommend the Flying Fig for a romantic dinner. This place is on the noisy side. It is better suited for a fun night out with family or friends. The location is also great, right in the heart of downtown. So if you are ever in downtown Cleveland, you most certainly should check out the Fly Fig. I highly recommend it.
