Visiting Exile On Main Street is always a pleasurable experience. Not only do I get warm fuzzies knowing that I am helping out a local business, but they are always having great deals. There are new and used CDs, DVDs, video games, and LPs all over the little store. You can look through everything as long as you desire. There usually is no one to hustle and shove out of the way. Truly it is a gem of a store! They take part in city events and have a twitter and facebook account that you can follow. If they do not have what you are looking for they are more than willing to special order it. The passion Exile has for serving their customers and for the items they sell is very apparent. While checking out you can often expect a comment about what you bought. There is no bathroom in the store since it is so small, but right down the street is a diner that’s always let me use their restroom. If you are hungry you can stop in the diner, or if you just want a snack, Exile sells pop and snacks. While big businesses have their place in society, Champaign wouldn’t be the same without Exile.
