Preston Art Supply is easily the best art supply stone in the Louisville, KY area. With 2 locations (one across the river in New Albany, IN), they are easy to reach from any part of town. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable concerning every type of art and media. They carry of full line of art supplies and accessories, and have quite a few instructional books as well. The offer art classes for adults as well as students across a variety of topics. Each instructor is well trained in their field, and very effective in their instruction. One of the best things that Preston Arts Supply offers is it’s “Repeat Customer” program. Once you have signed up for this program, your future purchases are tracked, and you receive 10% credit for everything you buy. You can use this credit bit by bit, or all at once, which enables you to save up for big purchases while still buying the things you need. Recently, the Louisville store relocated to the Gardener Lane shopping center, very close to its old location. The new shop is much larger. This expansion is a testament to the success of this business, and only re-enforces the fact that if you treat your customer well, you will succeed. I highly recommend this shop and give it 5 stars.
