Koret Recreation CenterKoret Recreation Center is the athletic facility for the University of San Francisco, a Jesuit School located in San Francisco, CA. The Center has outdoor soccer, baseball and football fields with teams of varying ages. The Center has one of the best aquatic centers in San Francisco which includes an Olympic sized pool. Wednesday and Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to 7:55 a.m., they have lap swimming. Saturday mornings are the busiest. You might not have a lane to yourself but you can always join the circle swim. Koret also has equipment including treadmills, stationary bicycles, weights and various other machines. They have several classes to choose from such as pilates, body sculpting, spin and cardio-kick; yoga and joint mobility are more popular with older folks. Koret fees are payed per visit. There is no monthly fee, which can be nice because then you pay as you go.  The daily drop-in fee is $15, but they do give you the option to buy a 15 use script ticket, which can be more economical. The fee is either $78 or $87. The $78 fee is for adults who use the facility before 2:00 p.m. The $87 fee is for all day/night use. Fees for people over 55 are $42 or $48, depending upon hours of use. People over 55 years of age may receive a senior discount. Koret Recreation Center is located on Parker Street, near Stanyan Street. The Koret Facility is part of the University of San Francisco, so don’t be alarmed by all the college students!
