Creative Dining And Enticing Entertainment At Casa Bonita In Lakewood, CO

Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

casa bonitaI was in the Colorado area visiting some old friends and I asked them to recommend good restaurants for me to try. They suggested numerous restaurants but there was one in particular that they stressed I visit- Casa Bonita in Lakewood, CO. It is by far one of the most unique restaurants in comparison to where one would normally go to dine. What I loved so much about this place is that customers literally have a couple hundred spots which to dine in, including a cave. Visitors can also watch people dive into a huge pool as they are dining. They have shops where people can play arcade games and purchase different knick-knacks. This place is by far the greatest, as its main focus is delicious Mexican food. The employees are all very friendly and, when it comes to the bill, pricing is not bad for a place that offers great entertainment. One piece of advice I would give anyone is to try the chips and salsa-you will not want to stop. If you love Mexican food and you like to be entertained while you eat, this restaurant is perfect! I highly recommend it! To find more Mexican restaurants like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.

Located in the heart of beautiful Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, Rick’s Dough Boys is great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Rick’s features a robust menu that is sure to have something everyone will like. From pizza by the slice to subs all made from fresh homemade dough, you can’t go wrong. Everything is clean and the service is very friendly and fast, even on busy nights. The most distinctive feature of Rick’s is the classics cars parked inside the restaurant. If you are a classic car fan or enjoy car shows it pays to stop by for a slice. Much of the customer area is themed with a classic car feel. From the old drive in posters to the engine block sitting on near the booths, you can’t help but feel like you are in the 1960s. Even though the display is impressive it still can’t outshine the food. Portions are sizeable and well prepared exactly how you like it. Sluggers Sports Bar In Chicago Is A Great Place To Celebrate A Cubs Win! (Or Perhaps Mourn A Loss…)

Sluggers World Class Sports BarSluggers Sports Bar, located in Wrigleyville in Chicago, is a great place to spend a memorable evening. Wrigleyville is a great neighborhood, always fun, and Sluggers is the best bar in the area! The bar has a super casual environment. It’s not too expensive, and they have a great full menu of bar food. Sluggers is always playing great music. There are tons of television screens in the lower level, so there’s always something to watch. You practically feel like you have your own television screen. Plus, the bar features great dueling pianos on the upper level. Everyone is always having a great time, singing loudly and dancing along to the songs. The piano players are so lively and put everyone in a good mood. You can also find a roomful of arcade games – mini bowling and basketball – and batting cages, which are always entertaining. Personally, our nights almost always end with intense Skee-ball tournaments. Sluggers is right by Wrigley Field, so the atmosphere after every Cubs game is electric, whether the team has won or lost. But even in the off-season, the bar is always packed, and every time we’ve gone to Sluggers, my friends and I have had a great time. Sluggers is a classic neighborhood bar, not to be missed! The Coliseum In Camp Hill, PA Has Family Fun For Everyone

The Coliseum in Camp Hill, PA offers a unique and exciting opportunity for friends and family alike to gather in a fun environment and enjoy some arcade games. Located in Central PA, this establishment is similar to Dave & Buster’s but more convenient for residents in the area than taking a trip to Baltimore or Philadelphia. Upon entering the Coliseum, you’ll have the option of going three different ways. To the left, stairs lead to a downstairs area which houses a bar and bowling alleys along with plenty of televisions for all your sporting needs. Straight ahead there’s the main attraction of the Coliseum, which is the arcade. To the right, there’s a restaurant with a typical fare of American cuisine waiting for visitors to come relax and grab a bite to eat. Since this is mostly a family centered environment, you’ll see a lot of kids running around enjoying themselves on a Friday or Saturday night. If you are older and want to have fun minus the crowds, going on a weekday would be the best solution. Several arcade staples are found at the Coliseum, such as Dance Dance Revolution, Skee ball, and Basketball games. There are also more up to date games such as Guitar Hero, a roller coaster simulator where the seats actually rumble to mimic a real roller coaster, and a Trivia game which is easily the most popular new game. For roughly ten to twenty dollars, a family of four can purchase enough tokens to last a couple of hours, which is very inexpensive compared to the cost of going to a movie nowadays. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the restrooms are well maintained. On a busy night the restaurant portion of the Coliseum can get pretty crowded, as well as the bar when there is a major sports game going on. The downstairs bar is a great place to hang out and watch the playoffs when they are on. If you’re looking for a new experience, or to cure some winter blues, head over to the Coliseum, and be prepared to want to come back over and over again. Head on over to globalYP.net and find tons of local business listings available online.

The Green Street Cafe Caters To A Younger Crowd In Champaign, IL

Posted by Keri W. on January 28, 2010
Arts & Entertainment, Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

The Green Street Café is a nice place for students to go. They have a very friendly atmosphere, which is geared towards making people comfortable. They have two futons and a coffee table that makes sitting there much like sitting in a living room. They have an open mic which is on Thursday nights and one person even sings in French. The band that hosts open mic night is known as EGHAB. They do mostly covers and they are very pleasant to listen to. The bathrooms are well lit and kept very clean. There are many fun arcade games in the bar and they provide hours of entertainment. The only problem with this bar is that it is hard to find because it is well hidden in a strip mall. This bar is never that busy, but it makes enough money to stay open. There is no smoking in the bar, but that does not mean that there is any shortage of smokers outside at any given second. This is a place for people 21 and up so if you are 21 and up and find yourself in the Champaign/Urbana area, stop on by. Stop by globalYP.net and find yellow pages that are online.

Whitey’s Booze & Burgers Is The Best Spot For A Laid Back Bite To Eat In Richfield, OH

Posted by Keri W. on January 20, 2010
Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

Whitey’s Booze & Burgers is a local favorite. Appetizers I’ve enjoyed include the lightly breaded chicken wings, homemade boardwalk-style fries and big onion rings. Whitey’s hearty chili is also known in the area. As for burgers, even the plain old cheeseburgers are out of this world and really juicy. But they’re better known for the sloppy ones, like the Maggie (cheeseburger swimming in onions and mushrooms), or Kiev (burger on Texas toast smothered in chili and cheese). You’ll only be disappointed if you’re looking for a neat, little sandwich you can pick up and eat without getting anything on your fingers. There’s a big island-shaped bar in the middle of the main room, and the other rooms offer tables or booths. The walls have kitsch and there are some plasma TVs too, but it still has the feel of a great local dive. Their humorous logo showing an outhouse with a “Kitchen” sign on it gives you an idea of the atmosphere, but it’s not grungy or dirty in any way. It’s really a great laid-back date place. They also serve beer from Great Lakes brewery (a local brewery). A room next to the bar has darts, karaoke and some arcade games. There’s even a volleyball net outside during the summer. The only complaint is go early on a Saturday or be prepared to wait, sometimes upwards of 45 minutes. The service itself is great though. Looking for more restaurants to try? Dominion Pizza Is Majorly Delicious In Madera, CA

Posted by Keri W. on January 16, 2010
Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

I’ve recently discovered a new pizza restaurant in my hometown of Madera, CA. It’s called Dominion Pizza, and the pizza there is really great! The employees are very polite and friendly, and service is always very quick. There are several coin operated games within the restaurant, my favorite being the pool table. I’m not very good at playing pool, but I enjoy playing a game occasionally, just for fun. The pizza is always ready before we’ve finished a game, though, so we stick around afterward to finish it up. Dominion Pizza has a wide variety of toppings to choose from. They offer your regular fare, such as mushrooms, olives, pepperoni, and sausage, to other, more uncommon toppings, such as eggplant and cashew nuts. They have two types of crust, a thin crust and a thick crust. Both are very good. The thin crust is a very delicate, almost cracker like, crust that is very nice. The thick crust is just what it says it is, thick! It’s crunchy on the bottom, and soft and chewy in the middle. The pizza sauce is very tasty, too. They have a lot of different specials and deals going on at any one time, just ask about them. They also deliver. So go ahead and give it a try today! GlobalYP.net has tons of local listings online, so go ahead and check it out!

Loving's CoffeeLoving’s Coffee is a great place to go anytime of year. It is in a really cute shopping mall in Branson. The parking there is really great because it is easy to find a parking spot! When you first walk into the door, you might be surprised to find some pool tables, a lot of videos to rent or buy, and a coffee shop. You can purchase lattes, coffee, iced coffees or coffee drinks, blended coffee drinks, and other type of coffee drinks. I really enjoy getting their Americano. For those who don’t like coffee, there is also an assortment of energy drinks, sodas, and juice. There is a lunch menu as well. They have good tuna salad sandwiches that are paired with chips. Their tea goes well with this meal choice. You can have sweet or unsweetened tea. They serve pie too. They have some tables where you can sit and enjoy your beverage and snack or meal. Sometimes, they have pool tournaments. If there are no tournaments going on when you go, you can pay a small fee to play for a certain amount of time. They also have some arcade games and a television which usually has some sports game on. Loving’s is a perfect place to host a birthday party for your kids. It is a really unique experience.
