Are you looking for an action packed night of family fun? If you are, look no further than Centerfield Park in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Centerfield has it all for all ages and all skill levels. Activities include batting cages, two miniature golf courses, bumper boats, go-karts, and video games. Oh, and I forgot to mention a great snack stand. Centerfield is just a short drive from St. Louis, Missouri and located just minutes from a major interstate. Growing up, I remember coming to Centerfield with my parents and brother and sister. Back then the park consisted of miniature golf, batting cages, and an arcade. We could spend all night challenging one another on the golf course trying to make a hole-in-one or playing in the batting cages trying to win a free token. The park has grown over the years. The golf course has been redone and includes a beautiful waterfall, bridge, and 36 challenging holes. You can have your pick of the two courses so you can look forward to a different experience when you return. The bumper boats are always a laugh and thoroughly refreshing on a warm summer night. The go-karts are fun and a great way to stir up a little friendly competition. Whether practicing for a baseball tournament or wanting to take it easy in the slow-pitch cage, the batting cages offer a great challenge. And finally finishing off the night with a snack and a video game is always just right. Just click on over to globalYP.net and start searching for local business listings available online.

The Wow Zone is a very enjoyable place for people of all ages, especially those with kids. It includes a laser tag arena that is made up of two levels, has blacklights as the only light source, and has plenty of obstacles to hide behind and shoot around. Outside of that area is a classic arcade full of many different classic games and new games. Games like Skeeball and Basketball shoot are classic while DDR and Deal or No Deal represent the more modern games that have been invented and produced. Also, off of the arcade, is a glow in the dark miniature golf area! This area is nice because it is inside, is fairly large, and everything glows in the dark, making it a one of a kind experience for the miniature golf lover. One of the best features of the Wow Zone is the bowling lanes. There are public bowling lanes open at any time, and then there are the private lanes. The private lanes are in a separate room from the rest of the activities and are reserved for special parties and company get togethers. Also, for the adults, there is a bar attached to the building, just in case they need an escape from the wild kids running havoc around the rest of the establishment. Muncie, Indiana may be known for things such as Jim Davis and the Garfield comic or Ball State University where David Letterman graduated from, but if you are a kid you know it for Escapades Family Fun Center. Escapades is a great place for kids to play on a snowy day or even a super hot summer day. The white building with the colorful sign, tucked behind Wal-Mart and Lowes, is the place where kids can enjoy being kids. The building has four main areas; the maze, the games, the kitchen, and the party rooms. The maze area is filled with ball pits, zip lines, tunnels, and slides. Children can enjoy hour after hour of crawling, jumping, running, and sliding. It is a great place to let your little one run out all the extra energy! The game area has over 20 different games that you use tokens to play. The games dispense tickets which can then be traded in at the redemption case for toys. If you get hungry you can enjoy a fresh made pizza, a hot dog, popcorn, or one of their other many menu items. Everything is reasonably priced so you don’t have to worry about breaking your budget. Escapades also features party rooms that can be rented out for events. Every party comes with its very own host that takes care of set up and clean up. All you have to do is show up and everything else is taken care of! Worried about having a headache from all the screaming kids? Don’t fret, just take a seat in the glass enclosed quiet room. You will still be able to see your kids but the noise will be greatly reduced! So if you have kids and are in Muncie, Indiana, take a trip to Escapades Family Fun Center, where the whole family can have a great time. Save time with globalYP.net, a searchable online directory.
Tony’s Steamers has been a staple of Winfield, IL for the past twenty years. The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. You can get their well-known Vienna Beef hot dogs or a hamburger, with the best quality meat from The Wheaton Meat Company. Everyone in town brings their family to Tony’s Steamers for a good, quality lunch. The menu is extensive, so there is something great for everyone. The restaurant also provides low fat salads and subs for those trying to watch their weight. The average price of a meal, including a drink, is about eight dollars, depending on what you get. They normally have daily specials and serve alcoholic beverages, such as beer and wine coolers. The staff is always very friendly and very efficient. I have been a patron of this establishment for well over five years and have yet to have a bad experience there. You can get a burger and fries anywhere, but you go to Tony’s because it feels like home. There is also pinball and video games for the kids. Visitors get more than a meal; they get a fun-filled experience. If you are looking for food, fun and family, go to Tony’s Steamers. Last year I hosted a going away party for my husband at Sterling Lanes in Mount Sterling, KY, and it was wonderful. We rented the entire bowling alley, had cake, and tons of fun. The staff there is wonderful. They will meet any need you have and even give you discounts. The going away party was great because the kids could play in the junior lanes, while the adults competed in the adult lanes. Not only do they offer bowling, but they also have an arcade right in the bowling alley, which means that parents can see their kids while they are playing. Location is also another benefit to this bowling alley because they are located right beside Tenth Frame Cinemas. When you finish bowling you can walk into the theater to see a movie or kill time before your movie by bowling. Sterling Lanes also boasts a very tasty grill, so you can eat while you bowl. When customers host parties at the establishment, they are complimented with a discount on everything at the grill. All of your guests will have clean, family fun here, where they can bring their kids and still get to enjoy the party. I would recommend Sterling Lanes for any party or event you may have because it offers affordable fun. To find other enjoyable establishments like this one, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.
I was in the Colorado area visiting some old friends and I asked them to recommend good restaurants for me to try. They suggested numerous restaurants but there was one in particular that they stressed I visit- Casa Bonita in Lakewood, CO. It is by far one of the most unique restaurants in comparison to where one would normally go to dine. What I loved so much about this place is that customers literally have a couple hundred spots which to dine in, including a cave. Visitors can also watch people dive into a huge pool as they are dining. They have shops where people can play arcade games and purchase different knick-knacks. This place is by far the greatest, as its main focus is delicious Mexican food. The employees are all very friendly and, when it comes to the bill, pricing is not bad for a place that offers great entertainment. One piece of advice I would give anyone is to try the chips and salsa-you will not want to stop. If you love Mexican food and you like to be entertained while you eat, this restaurant is perfect! I highly recommend it! To find more Mexican restaurants like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.

Stars and Strikes is a family fun center in Dallas, GA. Once you walk through the doors, you will feel the cool air conditioning blowing and you will be amazed by how many video games can be packed into one arcade. On your right you will see the entire arcade with racing, shooting, and coin slot games, as well as claw machines. Behind the arcade games you will find the laser tag arena. After laser tag you can move to the next room and play on the bumper cars, which will last for about five minutes. You can also visit every night at 7:30 pm to play a free game of Texas Hold ‘Em. After all of this enjoyment, you can still go to the upper level of the building and have fun bowling on one of thirty-four lanes. If you need to take a break, you can relax on the couches along the Satellite bar. No matter which lane you choose, a server will approach you to see if there is anything you want to eat or drink. Located in the heart of beautiful Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, Rick’s Dough Boys is great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Rick’s features a robust menu that is sure to have something everyone will like. From pizza by the slice to subs all made from fresh homemade dough, you can’t go wrong. Everything is clean and the service is very friendly and fast, even on busy nights. The most distinctive feature of Rick’s is the classics cars parked inside the restaurant. If you are a classic car fan or enjoy car shows it pays to stop by for a slice. Much of the customer area is themed with a classic car feel. From the old drive in posters to the engine block sitting on near the booths, you can’t help but feel like you are in the 1960s. Even though the display is impressive it still can’t outshine the food. Portions are sizeable and well prepared exactly how you like it. They also make exceptional salads, fantastic pastas, and some of the best wings in the area. Because they prepare the pizzas right up front you can actually sit and watch the chef make your pizza. Rick’s is also a good place to bring kids. They have some classic arcade machines and plenty of seating. The local newspaper and a couple of televisions are setup to help keep you informed and entertained while you wait. A large city parking lot is right next door so parking is easy to come by. Rick’s goes above and beyond in all aspects, making it one of the best places to stop when travelling through Elk County. Sluggers Sports Bar, located in Wrigleyville in Chicago, is a great place to spend a memorable evening. Wrigleyville is a great neighborhood, always fun, and Sluggers is the best bar in the area! The bar has a super casual environment. It’s not too expensive, and they have a great full menu of bar food. Sluggers is always playing great music. There are tons of television screens in the lower level, so there’s always something to watch. You practically feel like you have your own television screen. Plus, the bar features great dueling pianos on the upper level. Everyone is always having a great time, singing loudly and dancing along to the songs. The piano players are so lively and put everyone in a good mood. You can also find a roomful of arcade games – mini bowling and basketball – and batting cages, which are always entertaining. Personally, our nights almost always end with intense Skee-ball tournaments. Sluggers is right by Wrigley Field, so the atmosphere after every Cubs game is electric, whether the team has won or lost. But even in the off-season, the bar is always packed, and every time we’ve gone to Sluggers, my friends and I have had a great time. Sluggers is a classic neighborhood bar, not to be missed! The Coliseum in Camp Hill, PA offers a unique and exciting opportunity for friends and family alike to gather in a fun environment and enjoy some arcade games. Located in Central PA, this establishment is similar to Dave & Buster’s but more convenient for residents in the area than taking a trip to Baltimore or Philadelphia. Upon entering the Coliseum, you’ll have the option of going three different ways. To the left, stairs lead to a downstairs area which houses a bar and bowling alleys along with plenty of televisions for all your sporting needs. Straight ahead there’s the main attraction of the Coliseum, which is the arcade. To the right, there’s a restaurant with a typical fare of American cuisine waiting for visitors to come relax and grab a bite to eat. Since this is mostly a family centered environment, you’ll see a lot of kids running around enjoying themselves on a Friday or Saturday night. If you are older and want to have fun minus the crowds, going on a weekday would be the best solution. Several arcade staples are found at the Coliseum, such as Dance Dance Revolution, Skee ball, and Basketball games. There are also more up to date games such as Guitar Hero, a roller coaster simulator where the seats actually rumble to mimic a real roller coaster, and a Trivia game which is easily the most popular new game. For roughly ten to twenty dollars, a family of four can purchase enough tokens to last a couple of hours, which is very inexpensive compared to the cost of going to a movie nowadays. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the restrooms are well maintained. On a busy night the restaurant portion of the Coliseum can get pretty crowded, as well as the bar when there is a major sports game going on. The downstairs bar is a great place to hang out and watch the playoffs when they are on. If you’re looking for a new experience, or to cure some winter blues, head over to the Coliseum, and be prepared to want to come back over and over again. Head on over to globalYP.net and find tons of local business listings available online.
