Modern Pastry, A Sweet Taste Of Italy In Boston, MA

Posted by Jordan G. on May 04, 2010
Uncategorized / No Comments

modern pastryLast month, I made a plan to go to Modern Pastry in Boston, MA with my friends, as we all were craving sweets. I must say this was one of the best decisions I have made. This place is the best if you are looking for homemade, authentic Italian sweets. It specializes in freshly baked candies, cookies and pastries. Modern Pastry offers super fast service and friendly staff members. Although we had to stand in line to place our order, it was definitely worth it! The line was just proof of Modern’s success. We purchased chocolate dipped ricotta pie, cannoli, cassata cake and some cheesecakes. The moment I took the first bite of cannoli, I fell in love with it. It was too tasty to resist. The mouth-watering filling was neither too sweet nor too soft, made with the right consistency of each ingredient. I placed two orders of cannoli, as one should not miss the opportunity of being at one of the greatest pastry manufacturers. Modern Pastry makes delicious pastries and one should certainly try it! You will not regret your visit. I am looking forward for my next trip to the shop! To find other great pastry shops like this one, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.

Head Over To Head Nut For All Kinds Of Treats In Ardmore, PA

nuthI don’t know how many things stay the same in this world; if they do, then they usually don’t belong and die out. But consider the Head Nut the exception. I’ve been going here since I was a kid and now take my children here as well. This mom and pop shop has essentially stayed the same through my last 35 years, still scooping out fresh, great tasting nuts from large containers lined across the walls, jars full of chocolates, bins housing assortments of candies and fresh coffee beans and teas to choose from that touched all the continents. They did expand in one direction, by adding a coffee and juice bar; however, this only means you don’t have to wait to get in the car or your home to begin enjoying your cache of treats and delicacies. All else is the same, and as it should be since they really prove the adage if it’s not broke then don’t fix it. Bags of dried fruits adorn the same spot, easily taken to the register while you walk through the room for your next acquisition. Lately, we have trying more ethnic foods at home so now I go to the other corner of the main room to pick out the blend of spices I want to add to our new cuisine. After each selection is chosen, weighed, and bagged by the always pleasant and helpful members behind the register, you’ll be on your way to partaking in some of the most savory foods likely to found under one roof. The Head Nut is a regular favorite stop of mine that I always manage to add it into my driving route no matter how far away it may seem. GlobalYP.net, an online directory, is only one click away.
