So the only thing you really need to know is that Teitel Brothers Wholesale Grocery is hands down the best Italian specialty shop in the area. I love that it is wall to wall packed with amazing olives, cheeses, meats, pastas, mushrooms and amazingly delicious food. Every time I go in I have to restrain myself from buying just about everything in sight. The colors and smells are absolutely intoxicating, and the whole shop is a constantly filled with the hustle and bustle of satisfied customers. They have a great deal on olive oil: $20 for a whole gallon of the extra virgin variety! I also always buy my jarred artichoke hearts here because they are only $1.20, which is way cheaper than the grocery store, as is the arborio risotto. Sometimes things are expensive, like dried porcini mushrooms for $35 a pound, but they are selling all of their Italian goodness at market price. Basically, this is an awesome place to pick up anything that you could possibly want for Italian cooking.
