Hurry To HoiCin Cantonese Restaurant For Authentic Chinese Food In Sacramento, CA

HoiCin Cantonese Restaurant is located in Sacramento, CA. It is a small establishment that is hard to even notice from the street, but their food is delicious. HoiCin always uses fresh sauces and their selection is excellent. They have a wide variety of dishes that include smoked bass and duck as well as the regular dishes you will find at most Chinese restaurants. They also offer soups and main dishes without meat and offer tofu instead, so vegetarians can have a variety as well. The service at HoiCin is also great. They are friendly and very tolerant of my noisy children every time we visit. They greet you when you walk in and they don’t bother you if you are taking your time to look over the menu. They do not rush you and they always bring your food quickly. Hoicin only has a single unisex bathroom but it is always very clean and well stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. The seating inside the restaurant is overstuffed chairs and round tables, which make it feel more comfortable and roomy. Their floor and counters are always clean, and the decorations are simple but very appealing. HoiCin’s prices are a little higher than most average Chinese restaurants but the food is well worth it. The food is a great value for the price even though their servings aren’t huge. I’ve gotten more food for less money at other Chinese restaurants but the quality is so much better at HoiCin’s. So If you are looking for a comfortable place to have a delicious, authentic Chinese meal for a great price, HoiCin Cantonese Restaurant in Sacramento, CA is the place to go. Great Wall Chinese Restaurant, A Hidden Treat In Fargo, ND

Posted by Jordan G. on March 07, 2010

great wall chinese restaurantThe tasty Great Wall Chinese Restaurant is located in Fargo, ND. The first time I went, I had a meal, which included a heaping serving of fried rice with onions and green peppers, as well as sweet and sour chicken. This was an amazing choice, if I do say so myself. The cost was somewhere around $8.50, which also included a drink. The atmosphere of the restaurant is like any other, but the employees are extremely welcoming. It is a little niche in Fargo that many people do not visit for a meal. At times the restaurant can seem somewhat personal, as it may be your party and two others. There are a couple of booths and approximately five other tables for seating. The chairs seem sturdy, while the booths are very cushy. Parking is never a problem, mostly because this restaurant is in a strip of businesses, and there never seems to be a shortage of space. If you are really in a hurry, you can call and they will make the food for you to pick up in the drive through. The prices are average for Chinese cuisine, or possibly less if you are comparing it to other Chinese restaurants. This place is excellent! Visit and you will not regret it! Delicious Chinese Cuisine At Jan Mee In Portland, ME

Posted by Jordan G. on March 07, 2010
Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

Jan meeJan Mee is one of the better options for Chinese food in the small but charming city of Portland, ME. The restaurant offers a convenient location with plenty of parking in the Union Station parking lot. Jan Mee has an extensive menu that includes all the typical appetizers you have come to expect in a Chinese restaurant in the United States. The creations are typically fresh and tasty, and never seem dried out or warmed over. There is also a wide variety of chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, and vegetable dishes. The food is always cooked to perfection. I especially enjoy the twice-cooked pork and sesame chicken, but I have tried almost everything on the menu over the past ten years and I can attest to the fact that it is great. I should add that the portions at Jan Mee are enormous. It would be easy to share an item off the menu between two diners, or at least have plenty to take home for later, because it is almost impossible to finish an entire meal by yourself. There are plenty of both lunch and dinner specials that come accompanied with soup and carry very reasonable, wallet-friendly price tags. There are also some more pricey dinner specials for two to four people, but even these are not beyond reason in terms of price. Overall, the positives include great and plentiful food, excellent prices, and a ton of free parking. If you are in Portland and have a hankering for some Chinese food, give Jan Mee a try! Happy House Restaurant Has The Best Chinese Buffet In Monett, MO

http://www.flickr.com/photos/stevendepolo/3090985991/Happy House Restaurant is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Monett area. It is a family-owned restaurant. They have great prices and great food. You can order from a menu or like most customers do, go to the buffet. They also have a drive-up window for take-out. We especially love their buffet. There is so much to choose from. Their bread rolls are just wonderful. There is something for every taste: all kinds of meat, like chicken, pork, beef, shrimp and salmon, in addition to vegetables, such as mushrooms, potatoes, green beans, broccoli, corn, cauliflower and carrots. The buffet also has egg rolls, crab Rangoon, noodles, rice, soup, won-tons and more. This restaurant also offers a salad bar and a dessert bar, which includes pudding, pastries, and pieces of watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melons, peaches, mandarin oranges, and an ice cream machine. Why go to a fast-food restaurant, pay the same price, eat unhealthy junk food and get out of there hungry when you can have a delicious meal at Happy House Restaurant for the same price? To me, this place is the best restaurant around, whether it be for Chinese Food or anything else. I think that they picked the right name for their restaurant, because it makes my family happy to eat there. You’ll be happy to save time with globalYP.net, yellow pages that are online.

chinese happinessChinese Happiness in Gresham, OR is a great place to take the family for a relaxed evening of good food! Not only is the food excellent, but the staff is also incredibly friendly and the service a customer receives is above par. Their menu has a wide variety of options and at around $8 a dish, an affordable option even for large families. Their appetizer combo is an excellent way to start off a meal. One great way to experience a variety of foods is to order a few different main entrees and serve it family style. With the large quantities of food that come in each order, you will have more than enough! If this is not your style though, the restaurant also offers a selection of combination plates in order to allow customers to sample a variety of foods. Evenings tend to be slightly crowded because of the tasty dishes, so taking advantage of the take-out option is another great way to enjoy the amazing food without having to wait for a table. You have the option of either phoning in your order or placing it in the restaurant. If you do decide to dine in the restaurant, there is seating available while you wait. The restrooms, while small, are well kept up and clean. Overall, Chinese Happiness is a great local restaurant to take your family when you want to get out, but don’t want to break the bank! Spend Valentine’s Day At Alice’s Restaurant In San Francisco, CA

Alice's RestaurantAlice’s Restaurant in Noe Valley is a California Chinese masterpiece. Alice’s restaurant is a mixture of Chinese and California cuisine. The decorations add to the feel of the restaurant – some are classic Chinese decorations, while others are more modern. I especially like the variety of orchids in the window, each in a different shaped and decorated ceramic pot. It is the only Chinese style food I enjoy with wine. The tastes are adjusted to a wine drinker’s palate. The wine is also served by carafe or half carafe at a very good price. However, many customers do not drink. This is a child friendly place with lots of children at 6:00 and mostly adults by 8:00 p.m. There is also a bargain-priced lunch service. The many choices include tofu, vegetarian dishes, brown or white rice, fish, chicken, pork or beef. Especially beautiful is the artful way baby bok choy surrounds the plate. Radishes are also artistically arranged into flower like patterns. Alice’s is a great place to take a date for Valentine’s Day. They offer delicious, sexy food. Typically, Valentine’s dinner involves a steakhouse, but why not break away from the mundane and try this fusion Chinese restaurant in Noe Valley. With their extensive wine pairing, romantic atmosphere and modern vibe, Alice’s is perfect for young couples! Shan Dong Chinese Restaurant Is Relaxing And Delicious In El Paso, TX

Posted by Keri W. on January 22, 2010
Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

Shan Dong Chinese Restaurant is wonderful! My wife and I were looking for some really good Chinese food and we came across this one. We tried it and it’s seriously wonderful! We had the lunch special ($21 for both) and it comes with soup for each, egg rolls, entree with rice, and a drink. We also got an extra order of egg rolls. We had the sesame and general chicken, egg drop soup and hot and sour and it was all hot and fresh. The service was great and very authentic. The inside of the restaurant is very nice looking, like you are in an upscale eatery, and the food was brought out fresh and in a very timely manner. The whole atmosphere was wonderful, and would be a great place to eat with your special someone. There wasn’t a lot of noise around like you would find in a buffet or fast food place, and the music set the mood nicely for a very pleasant lunch. They are also very generous on the sauce with the meat. The dinner portions we were told are larger than the lunch, but also cost more (around $10.00 per meal.) but it is still very worth it. We will be going again very soon. Check out globalYP.net, online yellow pages, and explore your neighborhood soon.

Eat Up At East Buffet In Birmingham, AL

Posted by Keri W. on January 15, 2010
Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

http://www.flickr.com/photos/jessicafm/89932646/Most of the Chinese buffets I’d tried left me thinking that the food was overcooked or that it just didn’t taste natural. I would usually pass it off as something is to be expected from all Chinese buffets. This was until I found East Buffet of Trussville, Alabama (although the address is in Birmingham). You can get excellent sesame, Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken, etc. all at the quality of a regular restaurant, and at less than the regular restaurant price. When you’re in the buffet line you have to get the chicken teriyaki; the chicken is moist, juicy, and has a slightly sweet taste. They also usually have one or two American dishes, like chicken wings, French fries, and crab legs. For dessert, you will be pleasantly surprised. One of the staples of the place is the Chinese donuts (which for some reason aren’t in the dessert line). Chinese donuts are these fried dough balls, which are covered in crystal sugar. They also have a self-serve soft serve ice cream machine (I put emphasis on the “self-serve). Just dump a little soft serve ice cream on your Chinese donut for the perfect dessert. You can definitely see that East Buffet takes pride in the food they cook, and the different types of food they provide. I have never had a negative experience at this establishment (and trust me I go a lot). You go in hungry and walk out extremely satisfied no more than 8 to 9 dollars down (even less during lunch time). I recommend this to anyone who likes Chinese food. Lotus Restaurant Is The Spot For Fine Chinese Dining In Falmouth, ME

Posted by tluke on January 14, 2010
Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

Lotus RestaurantLotus Restaurant is a rare gem among Chinese restaurants in northeastern New England: an establishment that serves up tasteful, tasty, and authentic Chinese dishes with a relatively modest price tag. One taste of the menu at Lotus, and you’ll be hooked. What really sets Lotus apart from other Chinese places in the area is the quality and freshness of the food. You’ll find many items on their menu that you won’t find in other places and the food is more authentic. In general, the dishes are on the lighter side, in comparison to other Chinese restaurants in the vicinity, but are extraordinarily flavorful and filling. While you won’t find that their wonton soup is heavy with meat and wontons, you’ll find that it strikes just the right balance between broth, vegetables, and those other more filling ingredients. The sesame chicken at Lotus, while served with a delicious sauce, does not absolutely drown the chunks of chicken in that sauce, and the chicken itself is only lightly breaded. Everything is served family style which is great if you’re looking for a night out with the family. The ambience in the restaurant itself is delightful, and the service is top-notch. In addition to a menu full of traditional Chinese fare, you can also get first-rate sushi. Although I myself am not much of a sushi connoiseur, I have been told it is excellent. So, if you’re looking for a healthy, flavorful Chinese meal for a modest price, that will leave you satisfied but not overstuffed, I encourage you to give Lotus a try, you’ll be glad you did!
