Eric’s Flower & Plant Emporium in Reading, MA is by far one of the best Garden Centers I have ever been to in my life. They have a wide variety of annuals, as well as perennials and shrubs. The prices may seem little high, but you get what you pay for! Eric’s sells award winning Garden Splendor Shrubs and has homegrown Mums in the late summer and fall that are huge! The staff is helpful, as well as knowledgeable, and they can help you start a garden with the “We Plan, You Plant” program. They also sell a wide variety of mulches and soils. Many of the soils are organic and are pre-mixed. In the shed, they have a variety of fertilizers and lawn care tools. There is also a great gift shop inside the store where you can buy local trinkets and toys, as well as candy. On top of having a great gift shop, there is a fantastic floral shop in the back room, where they make the best floral arrangements in the area. They also have deliveries available on mulch and topsoil, which is free with a three-yard minimum. Their drivers are more than friendly and are willing to help assist you with any questions.
