I would tell anyone who has ever been to a New York deli for a pastrami sandwich to step into Lucky Dill Deli in Palm Harbor, FL. The food is amazing and the portions are huge! Two can share an entrée. Free dessert, New York Cheesecake, is offered when you purchase a beverage. The restaurant also offers outdoor specials. The “Bigger Better Burger” is only five dollars. A half-pound burger and a beer is only six dollars. The taste is fantastic! Only the best food is served here. My favorite is the pastrami on toasted rye bread, with coleslaw of course. It is the biggest, juiciest sandwich you can buy. Customers can enjoy breakfast here, too. Five-dollar weekday omelettes and six-dollar weekend benedicts will keep you coming back week after week. There is also a pastry bar with fresh baked cakes and cookies. You will find something for everyone young and old alike at the Lucky Dill. Make sure you come hungry! The filling food is made from scratch on a daily basis and is served hot. This is comfort food at its best! My husband and I found this restaurant by chance about two years ago. Until then we had not had good pastrami in Tampa Bay. Now, we come back to Lucky Dill Deli at least three times a month. The atmosphere is family oriented. The staff is happy and always ready to pile on the food. You should bring family and all your friends. No need to make a reservation! Fabio’s Italian Restaurant in Tracy, CA is a great place to visit when you have a craving for wonderful Italian food! The restaurant has been in Tracy for years and has changed ownership three times, but that has not changed the wonderful taste of the food. Each owner has kept the original menu and recipes, so you can be sure of tasting great Fabio’s originals each time you come in. The restaurant also has a generous number of spirits on the menu and the wine list is a patron favorite. Everything, including the wine, is very well priced. The menu caters to everyone’s tastes, with salads, pasta, soup and plenty more. The restaurant has a great dessert menu as well. This includes an amazing tiramisu and a wonderful cheesecake. Fabio’s Italian Restaurant always has a fun atmosphere. There is a party going on every night until the restaurant closes. The restaurant does not close until 5 p.m. in order to accommodate the many parties that are hosted there on almost a daily basis. This establishment has been voted “Best in Tracy” by reader of the local Tracy Press for the last three years running and was voted best in San Joaquin County in 2007 by San Joaquin County Magazine. Maude’s Classic Café is located right in the heart of old fashioned downtown Gainesville. It is a small, local business that makes delicious homemade desserts as well as coffee and other beverages. Maude’s offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. During the day the interior is quiet and peaceful, and is full of people studying and chatting quietly on big comfy couches. At night, the atmosphere is livelier; there is a big stack of board games that people come in and play for hours, and black-and-white movies are projected onto the wall. The outdoor seating area always has a beautiful view of the Hippodrome, one of Gainesville’s most famous landmarks. The atmosphere is great- it is lit with soft string lights, and it is a great spot for people watching. I came from San Francisco, which is known for its excellent cafes. When I moved from San Francisco I was disappointed with the lack of cafes. There are very few in the Gainesville area, and the ones that are there are lacking quality. However, Maude’s Café rivals some of the best in San Francisco with its great atmosphere and delicious homemade food. Find hidden gems in your area with globalYP.net, an online directory.
Whip N Dip Ice Cream Shoppe in Miami, FL is by far the most fabulous ice cream shop! It has been well known for years and is always busy at all hours of the day. The place is always packed with school children, college students, and adults. It is the best local treat and conveniently located. The ice cream here can’t be beat, and is much tastier than any known chain. Having only one location, it is truly the go-to place to eat ice cream in Miami. This place is highly recommended to anyone visiting Miami who is looking an inside, non-touristy feel of the city. This small shop is always decorated appropriately for holidays and boasts ice cream, delicious cookies, ice cream cakes, cookie cakes, and other incredible treats. The many toppings are one of a kind, from cookie dough, to fruit, to gummies. The look and feel is that of an old town ice cream shop, as it has not been renovated since it opened. It is a must visit! You will find yourself telling everyone about it. They also have a flavor of the day, which many of the locals are known to check online each day prior to visiting. This place just does not compare to any other! To find more local treats like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.

The City Café Diner is the best restaurant in Chattanooga, TN! If you are hungry early, stop by for breakfast, they serve it hot and fresh. If you need a snack, stop in for a light option. For dinner, bring the entire family out and enjoy City Café’s vast array of menu items, including everything from steak, to sandwiches, to seafood. If you have an urge to eat and are craving something special, City Café Diner will have something for you. Their menu is complex but at the same time is easy to read through, but making a decision about which entrée to choose is not going to be so easy. There’s more to this place than just amazing food. City Café is open 24/7 and is available for pick-up or delivery, but the best is yet to come. City Café Diner has the largest selection of desserts anywhere around. They have cakes, cheesecakes, pastries, and much more to satisfy your sweet tooth, and these aren’t the two bite style desserts either. These desserts are large and for the money, a very good deal. So the next time you want good food at decent prices from a restaurant full of friendly faces, I suggest you try City Café Diner in Chattanooga, TN. The Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe is a unique local coffeehouse located in the heart of historic downtown Frankfort, KY. The downtown area of Frankfort has become a popular lunch spot for the many state workers, and also is becoming more active in the evenings with many new local restaurants and shops opening. The Coffeetree is a unique little old-fashioned coffee shop that is a great place to hang out with friends, alone with a good book, or run in and out for a quick cup of coffee. The Coffeetree cafe offers a wide variety of coffees, teas, hot chocolates, and other specialty drinks. Many of the coffees are fair trade and organic so you can feel good about what you consume, and for supporting a local business. Rudy’s Can’t Fail Café in Emeryville, CA is very cool to many people on many levels. It is part punk café, part comfort food and part family restaurant. It is in a strange and somewhat unlikely location, next to the Pixar campus, in the Bay Area. It is partly owned by the bassist from Green Day and the décor is not grungy, but rather grunge. There are a billion Barbie dolls with Rudy’s uniforms on and monkeys on the wall. The music is obviously very adult friendly, but the kids love the décor. The food is home-style and very tasty. Burgers, interesting salads, week-night specials and an awesome brunch menu on the weekends are sure to satisfy your taste buds. I personally love the fried chicken or the combat mac n cheese. The buffalo chicken salad is also a great kick in the mouth. If you are coming for brunch, bring the kids for the awesome funny face pancakes. Be sure to come early because this is a Bay area favorite. This great establishment is open very late and offers one-dollar beers after 9pm. There is also a great line-up of draft beers. For dessert, definitely try the coconut crème pie, which never fails to satisfy! For more eclectic cafes like this one, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.
We decided to try Omar’s Restaurant in Saint Ann, MO on a whim, as I am always looking for passably good Greek food. My husband isn’t much of a fan of Mediterranean, but he does like Italian, so we decided to give Omar’s a try. They deliver, which was a major factor in the decision, as we did not feel like going to pick something up. We were personally fed up with so much Chinese and pizza delivery. I ordered Hummus and Pita bread, a Falafel, and Baklava (two meals for me, and then some!), while my husband ordered simple spaghetti and meatballs. He was very impressed with the flavor of the sauce and the pasta was cooked to perfection. My hummus was served with olives, pickle spears, tomato, and pita bread, which was still warm. The falafel reminded me of why I like them so much and that I should have them more often. The baklava was good, considering that I see myself as a mean judge of dessert foods. Overall, we had a pleasant experience with Omar’s Restaurant from start to finish. I will definitely be ordering from them again. I have already informed my local friends that it is a must-try! Dominick’s Pizza & Pasta in Virginia Beach, VA has the best tasting pizza I have ever tasted! They have a wide variety of toppings and specialty pizzas. My favorite has to be the wide pizza, without the alfredo cheese and garlic butter added onto it. It is so delicious! Their prices are extremely reasonable. You can get a one topping 16-inch pizza for only $8.99. They have your typical subs and gyros that are amazing. They also have a lot of dessert choices just in case you are still hungry. The restaurant is extremely clean and well kept. You can watch cooks toss your pizza and make it right in front of you. They also have a big screen TV in the back so you can watch the news or a game. They have a beautiful mural of the New York City skyline painted onto their wall. I have to say, the employees are the friendliest I have met. They are always willing to change things for you and answer your questions. Also, if you happen to be short on money, they will work around it to give you what you want, for what you can afford. Dominick has to be one of the friendliest guys in Virginia Beach. He is always talking to customers and seeing how the food tastes. If for some reason it does not satisfy his taste level, he will immediately take care of the problem. If you are ever in Virginia Beach, Dominick’s Pizza is the place to eat.
