Bar Louie is one of the more trendy and hip places to be in Lyndhurst, Ohio. About a twenty minute drive from downtown Cleveland, this bar is located in the middle of the upscale Legacy Village shopping area. Bar Louie is definitely a great spot because it’s where a bar meets a restaurant, while maintaining an upscale atmosphere and featuring a great drink menu. The food at Bar Louie is absolutely wonderful as well, and I highly recommend their burgers, or sliders. Bar Louie will certainly be the place to have a great time this Saint Patrick’s Day. With plenty of drink specials specifically designed for St. Patrick’s Day, this location will be a great spot located in the middle of a bustling and vibrant shopping area. Not only will the shopping area have plenty of St. Patrick’s Day events that you can take advantage of, but Bar Louie can really get you in the spirit with its great atmosphere, wonderful bartenders, and the people who frequent the place. The drink specials have always drawn crowds to Bar Louie, and St. Patrick’s Day will surely be just as great, with both well drinks and beer specials to look forward to in addition to food specials. As an additional feature, Bar Louie also serves their wonderful burgers and other menu items until late at night, which allows for Bar Louie to be a true destination when it caters to it’s customers in this way. You won’t need to leave the bar to get some good food to break up the evening of celebrating, you can simply grab a booth and order some fine eats. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great bar and especially if they are looking for a place to truly celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Just walking into Beckettes pub and restaurant on Shattuck in Berkeley and you step into Dublin, Ireland. Not just on St. Patrick’s Day, but any day. You get hearty food ranging from meat pies, stews and corned beef and cabbage. This is no dive. Come for the beer and stay for the food! All of it is tasty and made to order. The beer selection is broad, ranging from cool craft brews to the standard Guinness. The inside is dark and not my favorite place to spend a sunny day, but the absolute perfect place for a winter or rainy day. There are a couple great fireplaces to dine by and an upstairs area that holds the heat well. On weekends and special weeknights they have great entertainment, often in the form of comedic musicians found in Ireland. The location is also just right because you can take BART straight to downtown Berkeley and stumble back after you have had your requisite number of St. Patrick’s Day beers. They don’t open until late afternoon and find that Cal game days are very busy. Avoid parking in downtown Berkeley at all costs! Becketts is a great place to break into song for St. Patty’s Day! I love Irish pubs. Ever since I took a trip to Ireland some years back I have always had a soft spot for any place Irish themed. Here in Austin, we have several places to choose from, but I love Mother Egan’s Irish Pub the best. There is a outstanding selection of beer on tap, and the food is delicious. I love getting a stout Guinness or a black and tan while enjoying some delicious fish and chips. Another really cool thing about Mother Egan’s is that they have this amazing event every Tuesday night called Pub Trivia. It is really fun, but the people take it really serious, so newbies beware there is some serious competition between the teams and there are many teams there that always meet every week for drinks and some fun Irish style jeopardy. I’m definitely going to come down to Mother Egan’s this Saint Patrick’s Day for the most fun and authentic Irish experience complete with green beer, shamrocks, and maybe a leprechaun or two. Who knows what could happen after all that green beer? You better remember to wear green or face merciless pinching. Hopefully you will take my advice and this review will help you make the best choice for you and your friends to meet and have a great St. Patrick’s party. I was in the Colorado area visiting some old friends and I asked them to recommend good restaurants for me to try. They suggested numerous restaurants but there was one in particular that they stressed I visit- Casa Bonita in Lakewood, CO. It is by far one of the most unique restaurants in comparison to where one would normally go to dine. What I loved so much about this place is that customers literally have a couple hundred spots which to dine in, including a cave. Visitors can also watch people dive into a huge pool as they are dining. They have shops where people can play arcade games and purchase different knick-knacks. This place is by far the greatest, as its main focus is delicious Mexican food. The employees are all very friendly and, when it comes to the bill, pricing is not bad for a place that offers great entertainment. One piece of advice I would give anyone is to try the chips and salsa-you will not want to stop. If you love Mexican food and you like to be entertained while you eat, this restaurant is perfect! I highly recommend it! To find more Mexican restaurants like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.

Last year we decided J & L Catering on Grove St. in Newton, MA was going to provide the food for our wedding. We had so much fun at a tasting session before the wedding in which we were able to try numerous things that were to be served at our reception. It seemed like everything we tried was delicious. The owners, John and Laurel, are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They helped us make a menu that fit our budget and we were excited about. Our wedding was an outdoor wedding and most of the food was grilled right then and there. In spite of all the challenges of cooking outdoors, and a bad grill we rented from another company, the food was amazing! So many of our guests commented on the wonderful food they had eaten. Catering is usually one of the largest expenses you will have when planning a wedding. If I had to do it all over again I do not think I would change a thing- except for the grill we rented! They went above and beyond the call of service for us. In fact, they were so concerned about us having a good time at our celebration that we were not aware of any problems with the grill until after the wedding. Therefore, my wife and I highly recommend J & L Catering to anyone having a wedding with no regrets! To find more professional services like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.
The Santa Cruz Diner in Santa Cruz, CA is a popular local diner with a great selection of hearty, home-style food. The staff is friendly, genuine and always busy. I have gone to the Santa Cruz Diner multiple times and I always get something different because I am confident that I will like it. My favorite is the vegetarian eggs Benedict. In general, dishes are about seven to ten dollars and are served in huge portions. The menu is broad, spanning from breakfast, which is served all day, to Asian food, crepes, and hamburgers. There are plenty of alternative low-fat and vegetarian options, as well as a healthy seafood selection. The seafood they serve is brought in fresh on a daily basis. The outside of the diner seems bland, but the inside is rather eclectic, giving you plenty to look at and amuse yourself with while you wait. The walls are littered with signs and trinkets, including a large shark and a giant cheeseburger. There is also a small kid’s area with toys. The bar is almost always free when the wait for a table is too long. As far as restaurant bars go, this one is pretty comfortable to sit at, with plenty of space between the stools. The Santa Cruz Diner is a very local restaurant and it prides itself on that. The truth is you just cannot find better diner food around town! Tryst Coffee House Bar & Lounge in Washington, DC is a great coffee shop that mixes the best java with a comfortable atmosphere and good music. Occasionally, I have gone in and the music has been some sort of strange yodeling. But most time, it is a great place to study, meet with friends or pick up a date for the weekend. The coffee shop has a full menu that contains sandwiches, drinks, teas, and their famous coffee. I would recommend trying a bit of everything, as I have yet to eat anything there that was less then delicious. My personal favorite is the chicken pockets. However, make sure you ask for chips on the side as you may have left over salsa. Tryst offers wireless Internet on the weekdays, as people often come in with their laptops to study or do work. It is important to note, however, that they do shut off the free Wi-Fi on the weekends, as it becomes more crowded. The best thing about this place and what makes it so much better from its large chain competitors is its relaxed atmosphere. Customers have the freedom to sit and have a single cup of coffee for two hours if they please. Of course, you may want to tip your waiter or waitress more then the standard twenty percent, if that’s the case! To find more great coffee shops like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.
Casino Deli in Philadelphia, PA is a great little restaurant that offers a variety of foods for a very reasonable price. When I first moved, I did not notice that it was both a party store and a restaurant. After I went, however, I found it to be one of my favorite places to visit. The food is great and the portion sizes are large. A person can make two meals out of one dish. The best feature is that the prices are very low and competitive. Most meals are under seven dollars, which is great for those who want value and quality. There are daily specials that are even cheaper. The place is always full of people, which is one of the reasons that I decided to try it out for the fist time. The staff is nice and the food is delicious. I have tried many of their sandwiches and they are great. I have yet to try something that I have not liked. Their breakfast is probably the best breakfast I have had. The food is great and they follow your instructions as to special orders, making this establishment a great place to go and eat! Matsuri Japanese Restaurant in Miami, FL is by far the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to. Many share the same opinion. Though it is not in a touristy location, those who really know Miami will guide you to eat at this place. It was just remodeled beautifully and is always full of people who are compelled to eat this great food. This is always a good sign! Everything is fresh here! Customers can choose from sushi, sashimi and other cooked foods. It is the tastiest Japanese food you will find around, most notably for the sushi. Do not even bother going anywhere else before you try Matsuri. It is fairly inexpensive and you will want to eat your fingers behind each piece of sushi. As a Miami native, I know that this is one of the best places to grab a bite, if not the best. Matsuri is always consistent, fresh, tasty, and has impeccable service. They even have a menu that is all in Japanese, adding to the authentic appeal of the tasty food. I have had almost every single roll on the menu and cannot think of one roll that like more than the others. Everything is so good! I am one hundred percent confident that you will not be disappointed once you try Katsuri! To find more Japanese restaurants like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.

Beans in the Belfry in Brunswick, MD is one of the most unique establishments I have had the pleasure of frequenting. The first impression is the unusual setting – a historic church in downtown Brunswick! With stained-glass windows and a balcony in place, Beans in the Belfry is a lovely place to explore while having a bite to eat or visiting with friends over tea. The café is set up casually, with an assortment of comfortable couches, chairs, and benches to suit any visitor. Books abound and wireless Internet is available for those wishing to do work or networking in a relaxed environment. On most nights of the week, there is live music from local and traveling bands of all sorts. Most of the regular musician’s tunes are available on CDs that are sold in the café. It is especially fun to watch the music and occasional dancing from up in the balcony! Children are always delighted to enjoy music and to play with games and dress-up clothes found throughout the place. The most important part of all –food and drinks – leave nothing to be desired! Everything is homemade, from sandwiches to desserts to drinks to homemade chili. The menu includes a variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as many different teas, coffees, and specialty drinks. The desserts are scrumptious and usually include such selections as berry pies, brownies, and cheesecakes. Prices are refreshingly affordable for such wonderful food, setting, and company. I always recommend Beans in the Belfry as my favorite place to eat whenever friends and family visit. It is a one-of-kind place that is an absolute must-see.
