Cumberland House of PizzaCumberland House of Pizza is the local hot spot in Cumberland Rhode Island. Located on Mendon Road, the busiest street in down, CHOP’s is where teachers, students and residents of Cumberland hang out, and for good reason! This savory pizza is to die for! It features all varieties of pizza, with mouthwatering thin crust and the perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Not only that, but other selections on CHOP’s menu are just as delicious. My personal favorite is their buffalo wings and french fries. Not only is the food great, but the people at CHOP’s are warm and inviting. Everyone knows everyone else and if you don’t, you are sure to make friends. People usually go to CHOP’s after a football or baseball game. Who doesn’t like to push a few tables together and have dinner with friends? There is also a bar section that allows sports fans to relax while watching their favorite sporting event. The Spot Is Spot On When It Comes To Great Food In Cleveland, TN

the_spotStep back in time and head for The Spot, located in downtown in Cleveland, TN. The Spot is Cleveland’s oldest restaurant, which makes for a unique and fun dining experience. The menu is pretty simple and similar to when it first opened, with hamburgers, hot dogs, and chili. One thing they are noted for is their Orange Crush Shake, which has been on the menu since the beginning. My favorite is their hand dipped milkshakes! My husband and I love to sit at the counter, enjoying our cheeseburgers, French fries and a chocolate malt. Everything is made fresh to order and the prices aren’t bad either. It seems as if the prices haven’t changed much from 1937! You can feed a family for under $25! Another thing to note about The Spot is their excellent customer service. Every time I go in, they know me and greet me by name. They usually have the same people working there and it feels like coming home. The Spot is small with a few booths on one side and the counter and stools on the other. There is also a back room with a few more tables and chairs for when the front area gets full. It is a happening place to be. There is definitely a lunch crowd and you want to make sure you get there early to get a good seat. They also serve breakfast and dinner, but they do close at 7:00 PM. Located in the heart of downtown, it adds to the old time appeal. Every time we have out of town guests, I insist we take them to The Spot. The prices are the same or less as a fast food restaurant, but the taste and atmosphere doesn’t even compare, The Spot is so much better. Ronnie's Michigan StandRonnie’s Michigan Stand, in Morrisonville, NY, at1261 State Route 3, may look like just an ordinary place set in a small country town. However, what they serve, and their old fashioned way of serving customers, is a delicious and enjoyable tradition for many generations of locals as well as new customers. The restaurant provides take-out orders of their famous Michigan hot dogs (hot dogs with meat sauce), French fries, onion rings, and milk shakes. Just pull up in your car, and a friendly waitress will greet you and bring you your take-out order. The restaurant has a small bar inside with few seats if you prefer to mingle with the locals and really get the flavor of the North Country. While inside, you can smell the aroma of the secret Michigan sauce. Watch as the waitresses prepare a milkshake and deep fry the French fries. During the summer months, you will find cars parked in the parking lot with their windows rolled half down, supporting an attached tray loaded with a variety of food from Ronnie’s tasty menu. Their most popular item is, of course, their unbelievably delicious Michigans! For years, the owners have been serving up a Michigan that simply cannot be beat by any other chili dog around. Philly’s Cheesesteak Factory in Frederick, Maryland

Philly's Cheesesteak Factory in Frederick, MarylandLots of restaurants offer some variation on the cheesesteak, Philadelphia’s contribution to the Great American cookbook. However, few come as close to genuine Philly flavor as Philly’s Cheesesteak Factory. There are four main ingredients to a true Philadelphia cheesesteak: Steak thinly sliced, fried onions, cheese (Cheez Whiz or provolone), and the roll. Lots of places will add to that, but the perfection of a good cheesesteak lies in its simplicity. The most-often overlooked ingredient may be the most important: the roll. Many of Philly’s leading cheesesteak and hoagie shops use rolls from Amoroso, a Philadelphia-area baker whose rolls are apparenlty impossible to duplicate. These rolls, firm but not hard, make a perfect carrier to the cheesesteak, an admittedly greasy dish. Philly’s Cheesesteak Factory shows their appreciation for this most valuable component by using fresh Amoroso rolls trucked in daily straight from Philadelphia. Bite into a cheesesteak from Philly’s, close your eyes, and you just might think you’ve been transported to South Philly. And that’s not all they do. They’ve also mastered the cheesesteak’s essential sidekick: the french fry. Philly’s serves ocean-style fries: thinly-sliced, fresh fried, with a touch of skin at the ends. Whether you like them with Old Bay and malt vinegar or just a sprinkling of salt, you’ll find no better companion for your cheesesteak. But what if you’re a vegetarian or vegan and don’t eat steak? You’re still in luck. Philly’s offers a veggie sub just as full and satisfying as their cheesesteaks. Add an ice-cold fountain soda and you’ve got meal few outside Philadelphia can match. If you find yourself in the Frederick, Maryland area with a craving for a cheesesteak, treat yourself to a meal from Philly’s Cheesesteak Factory. Your tastebuds will thank you. Philly’s is located on MD 355 (Urbana Pike), Just off Interstate 70 in Frederick. Want to find more great businesses in your area? Visit GlobalYP the online local yellow pages.

Jack’s Family Tavern in Millersville, PA The Best Small Restaurant Around!

glassware_glass cup_beer cup_glass beer cup766Jack’s Family Tavern is a small restaurant located in Millersville, Pennsylvania. This is one of the most unique family restaurants I have come across. The owner even helps cook the food and help wait on the tables! Jack is the owner of the restaurant. He is very involved in the business and helps out when he can. Jack’s Family Tavern uses only the best ingredients. They don’t settle for something just because it may be cheaper than alternatives. One good example is their peanut oil French fries. Peanut oil is known to be more expensive than alternatives such as vegetable oil. This makes his French fries the best I have found in the area. There are many other choices for food at Jack’s Family Tavern. The menu consists mainly of American-style foods made from top quality ingredients. I had the opportunity to meet jack, whom had greeted me when I visited the restaurant. He informed me of how they prepare their foods and inspect every meal for quality before it goes out the door. If you decide to give this restaurant a visit make sure to take notice of the small town atmosphere. Most local diners and other restaurants lack this rare quality. If you are over 21 you are also able to order alcohol from this tavern or from Jack’s other location, which is a bar only (not a restaurant). Overall, the experience was excellent and much better quality regarding the food and atmosphere compared to any other restaurant near Harrisburg that I have been to.
