Three River’s Brewery would make an excellent choice for St. Patrick’s Day. This year, not only is the brewery offering a special beer tasting comprised of local brews, they are also offering a special menu of corned beef and cabbage. This brewery is located in an old drug store and features a lot of memorabilia from Farmington and around the world as it’s decoration. It offers classic pub food with a New Mexico spin. The menu is changed several times a year to reflect the seasons, so visit often to get a full taste of what they are serving up. After a pie, you can head next door to the Three River’s Tap Room. The Tap Room offers many different beers on tap, pool tables, darts and several other games. They have free popcorn and a large patio that has a fire pit going on cold nights. Jupiters is known for a being a bar, but if you go to the second location in Champaign it is much more family friendly. The basement contains fun games, such as mini bowling and skee ball. These are great for children! Though there is a bar located in the basement, it definitely does not feel like you are in a bar. A waiter will take your order and bring some of the best pizza around. They have exotic toppings and the average-style pizza. The tables are big enough for large parties. The staff is well aware of its guests and if the older children begin to misbehave, they quickly step in and make them stop. Although Jupiters is a little pricier than the average pizzeria, it is definitely worth the extra cost. You need to buy tokens to play the games, but seeing the look of joy on the kids’ faces is priceless. The upper level is geared more towards adults. There is even patio seating.
