The Highline Athletic Club is a great place for people to work out. They have tons of ammenities that are available to you. It’s slightly pricy, but like my dad always says, “You get what you pay for”. They have a great indoor pool with different water exercise classes. Also, in the pool area is a hot tub, a dry sauna and a wet sauna. Personally, wet saunas are hard to breathe in and a dry sauna scorches my behind! When you walk in you can see a full board of names and pictures of the employees and what they do; that way you can pick the teacher you want for classes. They offer various amounts of classes such as cycling, water aerobics, and dancing. There’s a machine for every single muscle you can exercise, guaranteed! Beyond the machines you’ll find a gym with pickle ball courts and a basketball court. On the outer rim of the gym you’ll find a room for spinning, a room for kids and boxing, a room for tennis and many other things! Above that they have a track you can run around, a stretching room and some empty rooms in case you need some extra space to yourself. What I like about the gym is I was always curious about some classes, but never had the guts to ask. The way they built the gym, you can see into the lower rooms from the upper track. One day I walked around the track and looked at all the classes I wanted to take. I would recommend this gym – go join today! To find other great places, visit globalYP.net, a local online directory.
After struggling to find an affordable gym that met our criteria, we stumbled upon Physical Impact in Longview, WA. Physical Impact has several things going for them. #1 – they are quite affordable. I pay about $45 a month for a 2 person membership (my wife and I) and that is after signing a 1 year commitment. The comparable gym down the street charges $40 a month for just 1 person on a 1 year commitment. #2 – I don’t feel like I’m surrounded by snobs and muscle heads who are judging every time I get my big butt on the treadmill. Most of their machine weights and all of their elliptical machines are newer and receive regular maintenance. On the second story of the building are the free weights. This really isn’t my thing but as far as I can tell, there is everything there that you need to pump iron. My favorite thing about this place is that there are two Stairmasters! Climbing stairs to me is a great way to cut fat quick. All of the other gyms in town only have one Stairmaster, Physical Impact has two! If you’re looking to workout on a budget, definitely give Physical Impact a shot! If you’re looking for anything else, give globalYP.net, online yellow pages, a shot.

Cherry Orchard Apartments in Sunnyvale, CA at 250 West El Camino Real is such a beautiful community in the absolute best location in Silicon Valley. Every apartment comes with a washer & dryer, dishwasher, microwave, central heat, and air conditioning. The amenities and grounds are beautiful; the landscaping needs to be seen to be believed. In addition, it is walking distance to all kinds of shops, restaurants and parks! Accessibility is fantastic because it’s within a mile or two of 3 or 4 major freeways, but it’s not so close to the freeway so as to get extra traffic and noise from it. The staff is so welcoming and courteous…they make you feel pampered. The pricing is a little higher than surrounding apartment communities, but it’s so worth it. I was able to get rid of my gym membership because they have a 24 hour fitness center that even has free weights. There is a beautiful club room that is available to rent for a small fee, which comes equipped with a full kitchen, big beautiful fireplace, sound and TV system, and everything you’ll need to host a party or family gathering. If you’re looking for a new place to live, I would highly recommend going in to speak to a leasing consultant and taking a tour to see how nice it is. There are many gyms in LA with all the state of the art equipments and machines but what is unique about Sports Club/LA are their trainers. They are the best. I joined Sports club six months ago when I was a skinny lean guy but with their guidance I have made huge progress and turned myself into Mr. Muscles. I can’t thank them enough. They give individual attention to each and everyone at the gym, but if you don’t think that you need their guidance they will leave you alone. They provide you with a schedule to follow, what to eat, what not to eat, exercises to perform on a particular day and other things. The place is huge, with plenty of empty space. It’s never too crowded. The only downside is the parking space, but that’s a price you have to pay for being in the heart of Los Angeles. Sports Club also has facilities for playing racket ball and basketball. They also offer discounts on long term membership, so if you are in it for the long run then it’s a plus. Many famous celebrities workout at this gym, so if you are lucky enough, you can also get a chance to workout alongside them. The Little Gym located in Kingston, NY at 1200 Ulster Ave is a fantastic place to take your children to learn and play. They specialize in programs designed to help children develop everything from social skills to motor skills, all in a non-competitive environment. I was new to the area and wanted to take my ten month old son somewhere safe and fun to play. I hoped we both would meet new people and get in a little physical activity too. What a great place! I love The Little Gym! It is a brightly colored, clean, friendly place to play and learn. My son feels safe and comfortable there and we both enjoy the classes. Going to The Little Gym has helped my son with his gross motor skills, confidence and social skills. We both have made new friends and have a great time seeing them every week. My son is now three years old and still loves his weekly Little Gym class. Soon, his one year old sister will start her own weekly classes and I am sure she will love them too! I am really grateful to The Little Gym for providing a wonderful, safe environment for my children to learn and play in. It has certainly been money well spent.
