Mrs. P’s Dance and Acrobatic Studio is located across from the Mets Stadium (Tradition Field) in St Lucie West. They offer many classes every night of the week and on weekends for all levels of dance and acrobatics. My daughter especially likes the Tuesday night Hip Hop class and the Acro class with Miss Dominique. She is awesome! My daughter is 14 yrs old. We found it difficult to find the right fit for her age group at other dance studios. Most others had lots of classes for young kids but not much for the older kids. She never took Hip Hop before so she would be considered a beginner. She is in a class with mixed ages but many are her age so she is very very comfortable. After 2 months, she is doing amazing. She tried out her moves at the Homecoming dance and everyone was jealous. She’s hoping the Acro class will give her a leg up at cheerleading tryouts next month. She has mastered a cartwheel, round off, tumbling, head stand, hand stand, back bend and more in just 2 months. She almost has a front handspring down pat. The class is small so she gets a lot of individual attention. She went to a regular gymnastics gym 2 years ago and in the 9 months there, she did not accomplish nearly as much. They also offer other typical dance classes like Ballet, Jazz and Tap. They do have a recital in the spring with beautiful costumes. I highly recommend Mrs. P’s Dance Studio for young and old alike. It has a real family feel to it. It is a pleasure and reasonably priced. It’s a pleasure to use globalYP.net to find local directory listings online.

Olympic Gymnastics, at 5222 E Baseline in Mesa, AZ, is a fun and exciting place to take lessons. I signed my young daughter up for a mommy and me gymnastics class for toddlers. I was surprised and delighted to find that she got to learn something from each apparatus. The gym is well maintained and free of any hazards. The staff is very friendly and seems to really care about their job and the children they teach. The kids all had a ton of fun and it really seemed to spark a love for gymnastics in my daughter. The classes are very high energy and engaging. The toddlers stay active the whole time and don’t seem to lose interest. My older daughter took a beginning class for preschoolers and loved every bit of it. She enjoyed working on the uneven bars and balance beam. The teachers are well trained and seemed to take safety very seriously. They taught proper techniques for even the youngest members. Both of my girls learned a lot and enjoyed it thoroughly. I think this gym has a very good balance of fun and structure to make learning exciting for the kids. It was really reasonably priced, competitive with many of the city’s community centers for beginning level classes. See what your city has to offer by searching on globalYP.net, an online directory.
If you have a preschooler in the Charleston, South Carolina area, you have to check out Rolly Pollies of Summerville. We discovered this great place when my five year old was invited to a birthday party there. From the moment I walked in the door, I was blown away. I was really amazed at how clean the gym was. My son immediately ran into their huge gym floor and began playing in the gigantic above ground foam pit. They also had a trampoline, jump castle and tons of mats and gymnastics equipment for the kids to play on. The best thing though was the great staff. Mr. Patrick kept the party running smoothly the whole time (I didn’t see the birthday girl’s mom have to lift her finger once). Since they only do one party at a time, our group had the whole place to ourselves, and the staff knew every kid’s name by the end of the party. What’s even cooler is that they also teach non-competitive gymnastics and physical fitness classes too. I ended up enrolling my two-year old in a class and he loves his special time with mommy at Rolly Pollies. Take it from this mom Rolly Pollies is perfect and a great place to get your kids moving in a safe, clean environment! For a fast and easy to use online directory, visit globalYP.net.

The Little Gym located in Kingston, NY at 1200 Ulster Ave is a fantastic place to take your children to learn and play. They specialize in programs designed to help children develop everything from social skills to motor skills, all in a non-competitive environment. I was new to the area and wanted to take my ten month old son somewhere safe and fun to play. I hoped we both would meet new people and get in a little physical activity too. What a great place! I love The Little Gym! It is a brightly colored, clean, friendly place to play and learn. My son feels safe and comfortable there and we both enjoy the classes. Going to The Little Gym has helped my son with his gross motor skills, confidence and social skills. We both have made new friends and have a great time seeing them every week. My son is now three years old and still loves his weekly Little Gym class. Soon, his one year old sister will start her own weekly classes and I am sure she will love them too! I am really grateful to The Little Gym for providing a wonderful, safe environment for my children to learn and play in. It has certainly been money well spent.
