Happy House Restaurant is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Monett area. It is a family-owned restaurant. They have great prices and great food. You can order from a menu or like most customers do, go to the buffet. They also have a drive-up window for take-out. We especially love their buffet. There is so much to choose from. Their bread rolls are just wonderful. There is something for every taste: all kinds of meat, like chicken, pork, beef, shrimp and salmon, in addition to vegetables, such as mushrooms, potatoes, green beans, broccoli, corn, cauliflower and carrots. The buffet also has egg rolls, crab Rangoon, noodles, rice, soup, won-tons and more. This restaurant also offers a salad bar and a dessert bar, which includes pudding, pastries, and pieces of watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melons, peaches, mandarin oranges, and an ice cream machine. Why go to a fast-food restaurant, pay the same price, eat unhealthy junk food and get out of there hungry when you can have a delicious meal at Happy House Restaurant for the same price? To me, this place is the best restaurant around, whether it be for Chinese Food or anything else.
