June Badon Elite School of Dance and Acrobatics is the best place you could bring your daughter, and even your son for dance lessons. June has been running the studio since 1955 and is still teaching classes herself at the age of 72. With such a spunky older lady running the place, of course all of the classes are going to be upbeat and fresh. June focuses on each student and their talents, as well as their weaknesses, and provides so much individual attention to each of her dancers. She is able to do this because she keeps her class sizes small so there is a better student teacher ratio than in most classrooms. I have never seen one of the children come out of a class without a smile on their faces. And to keep up with the times, June has recently hired a male instructor to teach the girls hip hop and has recently started an all boys hip hop class. Not to mention the extremely helpful and competent office staff. The two ladies that run the office are there to answer all of your questions. They help make sure that everything outside of the classrooms runs smoothly. I would, and do recommend June Badon’s Elite School of Dance and Acrobatics to everyone that I come across. Mrs. P’s Dance and Acrobatic Studio is located across from the Mets Stadium (Tradition Field) in St Lucie West. They offer many classes every night of the week and on weekends for all levels of dance and acrobatics. My daughter especially likes the Tuesday night Hip Hop class and the Acro class with Miss Dominique. She is awesome! My daughter is 14 yrs old. We found it difficult to find the right fit for her age group at other dance studios. Most others had lots of classes for young kids but not much for the older kids. She never took Hip Hop before so she would be considered a beginner. She is in a class with mixed ages but many are her age so she is very very comfortable. After 2 months, she is doing amazing. She tried out her moves at the Homecoming dance and everyone was jealous. She’s hoping the Acro class will give her a leg up at cheerleading tryouts next month. She has mastered a cartwheel, round off, tumbling, head stand, hand stand, back bend and more in just 2 months. She almost has a front handspring down pat. The class is small so she gets a lot of individual attention. She went to a regular gymnastics gym 2 years ago and in the 9 months there, she did not accomplish nearly as much. They also offer other typical dance classes like Ballet, Jazz and Tap. They do have a recital in the spring with beautiful costumes. I highly recommend Mrs. P’s Dance Studio for young and old alike. It has a real family feel to it. It is a pleasure and reasonably priced. It’s a pleasure to use globalYP.net to find local directory listings online.
My daughter has taken dance lessons at The Dancer’s Studio in Kennesaw since she was 5. As a middle school student, she still looks forward to every Monday when she attends her hip-hop jazz dance class at Miss Brenda’s. A Kennesaw favorite, The Dancer’s Studio has taught hundreds of students the fundamentals of ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop over the last 20 years. The prices are reasonable, at about $50/month, and each June the class has a recital at Cartersville Grand Theater where they show friends and family what they’ve learned. Every girl gets a trophy, and DVDs are available for purchase. There are also Company dancers at the studio who perform more frequently and compete. They bring home some BIG trophies and I believe are well respected throughout the southeast. Miss Brenda’s own daughter, who both took dance from her and then taught at the studio, now dances professionally. For a year-round activity that ensures my daughter gets exercise, stretching, activity, and fun, The Dancer’s Studio has consistently delivered what we need. The costumes they pick for the end-of-the-year recital are very classy compared to most of what’s available in the catalogs. Taking dance lessons at The Dancer’s Studio has given my daughter poise, grace, and plain good times. Go to globalYP.net, online yellow pages, to find more wonderful places like Dancer’s Studio.
Xclusive Music is a music store started by a young entrepreneur at 256 W Philadelphia St in York, PA. When this store was opened in 2006, the owner, Ray Harris, had not ever been legally employed before. His only past job was walking around the city of York selling boot-legged CD’s. This act landed him in jail and also turned his life around. Harris had big dreams and the ambition needed to achieve them. He started his business by himself, being the only worker. As business picked up, he was able to hire employees and the takes us to today. Xclusive Music offers a vast array of hip hop and rhythm and blues cds. The cds they carry range from chart toppers to underground mixed cds featuring new and upcoming artists. The selection is good and the prices are below normal for brand new cds. The store doesn’t stop with music though. They also offer various items such as t-shirts and magazines. Xclusive Music even carries a limited amount of snacks and cold drinks for the person on the go. If the store does not have what you want, they will order it for you.
