Ritter’s Frozen Custard In Port Orange, FL Is Perfect On A Hot Day

Ritter’s Frozen Custard has the best frozen custard I have ever tasted. Located at 4629 Clyde Morris Blvd in Port Orange, FL, they use the old style custard machines and make it fresh every day. Each day, the flavors are changed and include flavors like chocolate, vanilla, peach, strawberry, butter pecan, along with many more. Their menu has the largest sundaes compared to anywhere around town. Ritter’s will put anything on your sundae that you would like so that it’s personalized to you. If you have a special occasion coming up, you can purchase one of their ice cream cakes. The ice cream cakes consist of birthday, turtle, cookies and cream, along with a lot of others and they are all custom made to your liking. Ritter’s also serves sandwiches, burgers, fries, and hotdogs to accompany their frozen desserts. All of the hot dogs are Nathan’s brand hot dogs, which are hard to find around Daytona Beach. Ritter’s location is very easy to find and the atmosphere is fun! There are picnic tables with umbrellas outside the custard kiosk and there is a small playground for children to enjoy. Also, Ritter’s is the most inexpensive frozen treat place in the Daytona Beach area. Find what else is in your area with globalYP.net, an online directory.

Carvel’s Ice Cream in Philadelphia, PA Is Cool & Convenient

ice-creamThe best thing about this place is the fact that you’ve got a Subway restaurant AND a Carvel’s Ice Cream in the same building. It’s just down the road from our apartment, so we often walk down there with the kids to grab some sandwiches for dinner, and stay for some ice cream treats! It’s great to be able to do both in one location without going back outside into the heat. The staff is always very friendly; they remember the “regulars” and we enjoying seeing them about once a week. Both areas of the restaurant are always clean and neat; the bathrooms are always VERY clean and nice-smelling, which I appreciate since I have young children that sometimes need to use the restroom while we’re there. Carvel also sells novelty ice-cream cakes in their freezer section; these are a fabulous treat for children’s birthday parties in the summertime! You can also order custom cakes, which requires 48 hours’ notice. The prices for everything are imminently reasonable; you can get a medium ice-cream cake for around $15.00. There is a parking lot for the strip mall where this restaurant is located; it’s not very large, but I’ve never seen it full to overflowing. However, if you live in the area and it’s nice out, you might as well walk and enjoy the weather! The neighborhood is safe, even after dark.
