Set The Mood This Valentine’s Day at Henri’s In Longview, WA

Henri's RestaurantMy wife and I had heard nothing but good things about Henri’s in Longview, so last year we decided to give them a shot on Valentine’s Day. I called about a month in advance and made reservations for one of their private booths. I figured because it was Valentine’s Day that the place would be swamped but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had everything under control by providing plenty of staff. There’s nothing worse than having to wait 45 minutes for your meal on Valentine’s Day. The first thing I noticed when we were taken to our seats was the wonderful atmosphere. The lights were dimmed, candles lit and the tables sprinkled with real rose pedals. It was definitely a great first impression! I ordered the Chicken and my wife ordered the Roast Duck. They were both absolutely delicious. The meat was tender, the vegetables warm and buttery and the mashed potatoes were just like Grandma had made them. Not to mention the free cheesy garlic bread they serve you while you wait for your meal! I could load up on that stuff all night long! I have since been back to Henri’s two times and both were a blast. They have a very friendly and outgoing staff and besides having a great restaurant to take your wife, they also have a bar to hang out with your friends with live music from time to time. There’s no question that I would recommend this place to anyone! To find other great places this Holiday, visit globalYP.net, a local online directory.

Get Fit Without Emptying Your Wallet At Physical Impact In Longview, WA

Personal Care & Services, Sports & Recreation / No Comments

After struggling to find an affordable gym that met our criteria, we stumbled upon Physical Impact in Longview, WA. Physical Impact has several things going for them. #1 – they are quite affordable. I pay about $45 a month for a 2 person membership (my wife and I) and that is after signing a 1 year commitment. The comparable gym down the street charges $40 a month for just 1 person on a 1 year commitment. #2 – I don’t feel like I’m surrounded by snobs and muscle heads who are judging every time I get my big butt on the treadmill. Most of their machine weights and all of their elliptical machines are newer and receive regular maintenance. On the second story of the building are the free weights. This really isn’t my thing but as far as I can tell, there is everything there that you need to pump iron. My favorite thing about this place is that there are two Stairmasters! Climbing stairs to me is a great way to cut fat quick. All of the other gyms in town only have one Stairmaster, Physical Impact has two! If you’re looking to workout on a budget, definitely give Physical Impact a shot! If you’re looking for anything else, give globalYP.net, online yellow pages, a shot.

Mars Web Creations Makes Getting Your Site Together Easy In Kelso, WA

Mars Web Creations has got to be the best bang for your buck when it comes to web services in the Longview/Kelso area. Located at 1003 South 6th Ave in Kelso, WA they’re unlike most web service providers in the area. They list all of their prices and fees up front which are very affordable. Their hosting is very inexpensive and reliable. I have been with them for over a year now and have not experienced any down time. I originally contacted them to get a quote for a redesign of my company’s website. They put together a very professional proposal for me to take back to my boss and answered every question I had. After agreeing on a price, we signed some papers and they went right to work on our web site. Most companies like to wait until the last day of the deadline to complete a project but Mars Web Creations finished 2 weeks under deadline and even threw in a couple of extra pages free of charge. We even signed a maintenance contract for 10% of the price the other guys in town had to offer. Their customer service is second to none and they are by far the most knowledgeable and competent when it comes to web design and development in the Cowlitz County area. When it comes to finding places in your area, find them faster with globalYP.net, online yellow pages.

Save Big At The Red Hat Thrift Store In Longview, WA

Posted by Keri W. on January 13, 2010
Retail Stores / No Comments

The Red Hat Thrift Store is a wonderful place for cheap, quality clothes in good condition. All the sales profits go to support the Emergency Support Shelter for Women and Parent’s Place (a safe place for parents and children of all ages). All the clothes are in good condition, some are even new. The Red Hat store contains mostly women’s and children’s clothes, but they also have men’s clothes, bedding, and kitchen/home products. The kitchen and home products are always in good shape and at a wonderful price. The bedding is usually in short supply, but in good shape too. They also carry a small supply of movies ranging in rating. The selection on women’s and children’s clothes is wonderful. They have all sizes and colors. It’s almost like shopping in a normal store. I shop at the Red Hat store quite often. My 3 year old daughter loves to shop there too. I can go in with $20 and leave with an outfit or two for myself and four or five for my daughter. I love to shop at the Red Hat Store because I get so much for so little money and I am helping good causes that have helped me in my times of need. When you need to find something in the phonebook, try using globalYP.net, an online directory, instead.
