Strawberry Bakery is a French bakery located in Malvern, PA. It’s a small bakery where you can sit to eat at the small bar or at the only table (yes they only have one table). Usually people just go there and take out what they buy. The owner, of course a French baker, and his other bakers make delicious cakes, pastries, cookies and tarts every day. For this Christmas, they made a 3 foot Santa Clause out of dark chocolate. It looks beautiful. They sold it for 149. It is a lot of money, but I think it worth it if you have are having a big Christmas party. This Santa was really beautiful. They also sold or maybe they are still selling delicious gingerbread cookies, and the gingerbread houses. I tried the cookies, 2 for just 1 dollar and they were really good. They also make a very good chocolate croissant, and you can eat it accompanied with their coffee, which is good too. Birthday cakes or cakes for any occasion are beautifully decorated. I have not bought any yet, but they look so rich that despite their small size I think I might buy one next time. Last week we went to buy the famous gingerbread man cookies but they were all gone. So, I bought a bag of Christmas cookies, and they were very delicious and decorated adorably. They also sell fresh French baguettes. Everything is fresh. You can taste it when you are eating, and everything is very well decorated. You can see the bakers when they are baking, which is nice too. Maria Fe’s Upscale Consignment is a small store located in Malvern, PA. This store sells second hand clothes in very good condition. Most of their items are made by high-end designers. For example, I just bought a pair of Keen winter shoes for fifteen, and I saw them online for ninety-five dollars. I was lucky because this pair was brand new. The Martial Arts and Fitness Center offers karate lesson and other martial arts for kids and adults. My two boys take karate lessons there at 400 E King St in Malvern, PA. My little one who is 4 years old is in the grasshopper level. In this level they develop motor and listening skills, which is wonderful for preschoolers. My other son who is 6 years old was promoted to the next level called Junior karate. In this level, they develop mental discipline and self-confidence, and self-defense. They do not teach fighting, just self-defense. Another good thing is that they teach the kids gratitude and respect to parents and older people, and also to older kids in the class, who have spent more time taking karate lessons. For children’s lessons there’s only 1 Sensei, who is the owner, and his wife, who is of so much help to the kids. There are not too many kids, which is wonderful. The Sensei knows so many techniques to get the attention of the kids that his lessons are fun but at the same time with discipline. I think he has a gift. It’s amazing how kids love him. The kids laugh and enjoy his class. In the Grasshopper class, moms and dads can enter the class for free with their kids. Another great thing is that when you pay for one kid, your second pays only 50%, your third 25%, and your fourth child doesn’t pay anything. This offer also includes moms and dads. So, For example, if your two kids are taking lessons, and you want to take Tai Chi lessons, you’ll pay only 25% and your husband will go for free. Prices are reasonable. I was paying double for my son in another academy until I found this wonderful one. They do not play rock music, which I have noticed is fairly common other places. They also do a demonstration class, where parents are allowed to enter the class and the Sensei explains what they do. Anthony’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant is located in the historic area of Malvern, PA. Their location is excellent because you can take the train or bus from other nearby areas and the restaurant is at a walking distance from the train station and bus station. The food is as authentic as Italian can get. They have everything from home-made pasta and pizza to eggplant parmigiana, lasagna, mussels etc. I think pizza is one of their specialties. Their tomatoes sauce is excellent. I am Italian, so I’d like to have a good lunch!The portions of food are enormous. I hope you are hungry when you go there, and if you have little kids, two kids can share one plate. The service is just another reason to try Anthony’s Italian Restaurant. At times they can get very busy, but the service remains the same. The decor and music are Italian and just add to the authentic Italian atmosphere. Anthony’s allows you to bring your own wine and charge no bottle service.
