Our family loves Tequila’s Restaurant. For birthdays, special occasions, or just because, the vote is always unanimously in favor of Tequila’s Restaurant. At first, it was because they are housed in old train cars. Tequila’s is one of the handful of businesses residing in Yakima’s Track 29. It really is one of those nearly lost Great American Attractions that families should visit on a road trip. As far as Mexican food goes, Tequila’s is certainly good, but the real jewel here is the setting, and the service. The staff is by far the friendliest and most attentive in all of Yakima. It is a great place to get a drink with friends and a great place to bring the family as well. Never a dirty look when the toddler tosses rice on the floor or grabs at the server, or when the 5 year old spills her drink, twice. By the way, if your glass is empty, it won’t be for long. The prices are great and the menu includes all of the standards. I am a big fan of their Carne Asada. For such a simple dish it is surprising just how many restaurants do not get it right. And you cannot forget the fried ice cream, done up with the works, a fried tortilla cup, drizzle of honey and strawberries with whipped cream on top. I was in the Colorado area visiting some old friends and I asked them to recommend good restaurants for me to try. They suggested numerous restaurants but there was one in particular that they stressed I visit- Casa Bonita in Lakewood, CO. It is by far one of the most unique restaurants in comparison to where one would normally go to dine. What I loved so much about this place is that customers literally have a couple hundred spots which to dine in, including a cave. Visitors can also watch people dive into a huge pool as they are dining. They have shops where people can play arcade games and purchase different knick-knacks. This place is by far the greatest, as its main focus is delicious Mexican food. The employees are all very friendly and, when it comes to the bill, pricing is not bad for a place that offers great entertainment. One piece of advice I would give anyone is to try the chips and salsa-you will not want to stop. If you love Mexican food and you like to be entertained while you eat, this restaurant is perfect! I highly recommend it! To find more Mexican restaurants like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.
La Costa is a little Mexican restaurant that has won numerous awards for its food and ambiance. The entire restaurant is outdoors, with only two small windows into a stand-alone kitchen (one to order, and one to pick up food from). The rest of the restaurant is composed of bench table settings under a large awning. There are plants and trees everywhere, and even a soothing waterfall fountain. In the winter, when Northern California weather dips into the 50’s, they enclose the outdoor area in new clear plastic and turn on spot heaters to keep the table dining at a comfortable temperature. This place is always packed, and since you can just pick up and carry out meals, the line is always long. They keep customers moving quickly, though, so you never wait more than a few minutes to order and get your meal. The cost is amazingly low – almost every meal is $4. You get a huge fresh-made beef burrito, or a warm gooey quesadilla, or a delicious torta, all for four dollars each. The spices are authentic but not so hot that most people won’t relish the taste! The employees are always in a happy mood and are ready with a smile. There is Mexican music playing on the outdoor speakers, which just adds one more layer of fun to visiting La Costa! Burrito King in Los Angeles, CA is one of the best local places to have a breakfast burrito in the Silver Lake area! The atmosphere is quite enjoybale, to be honest with you. The restaurant is small, with only three or four tables that are set up outside. The establishment resembles a taco stand, as one has to walk up to the outdoor counter to order his or her meal. This description aside, appearances can be deceiving! The food at Burrito King is excellent, at least what I have tried when I have gone. I have not ventured too much off of the breakfast menu because that is usually the time of day that I visit. They make excellent breakfast burritos! Customers can choose between burritos with beans or potatoes. They are a relatively good size and their meat is excellent! I usually spend around twenty dollars for four burritos, which is not bad at all. Their staff has always been very friendly to us, considering the small language barrier of Spanish versus English. I have never had any problems with my order, which is definitely a plus in my book! Overall, Burrito King offers great food at a great price! If you want to try authentic Mexican food, La Tolteca in West Chester PA, is a great choice! The popularity of its flagship restaurant in Wilmington Delaware led to its opening in West Chester, Pennsylvania. La Tolteca’s menu is lengthy and diverse. There are over two hundred menu items to choose from. There are many selections of beef, seafood, poultry, and vegetarian meals. The most valuable item on the menu is the combination dinner. A diner can choose from different selections of burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, or tacos. They can mix and match these choices. These dinners come with refried beans and Spanish rice. The cost of the combination plates is between eight and ten dollars. La Tolteca also has House specials. Some of the best selections are the fajitas, scallops, Mexican style shrimp, and tacos with pork. These meals run from ten to fourteen dollars. The lunch menu is very reasonable. Most items are a la carte. The cost for lunch is about eight dollars when you include a drink. Just a friendly note, the portions are huge! One could easily share a combination dinner or have plenty of leftovers for home. Desserts are also a specialty. The fried ice cream is a definite recommendation! This dish is made up of vanilla ice cream, covered in a crunchy topping, and then fried. The ice cream has chocolate, honey, whipped cream and coconut served in an edible flour dish. Another great dessert to try is the flan. This is Mexican type of custard served with vanilla syrup. La Tolteca is a reasonably priced restaurant with excellent freshly made Mexican food. Try it and enjoy! For more authentic restaurants like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.
Soliz Casa de Tacos is a little yellow shack that you’ll probably miss unless you know what you’re looking for. This hole in the wall place with a red roof and rough exterior isn’t the most glamorous place to eat, but your taste buds won’t be disappointed. As their name suggest, they’re known for their tacos, and my personal favorite comes with eggs, potato and cheese that I down for a satisfying breakfast or lunch. But there are so many ways you can get your tacos made, which means you get them just how you like them! You can also order from their menu (the “Eric” and “Darlene” are popular picks). Paired with their signature salsa, you’ll be hungry for more. Don’t get me wrong, though, the tacos are stuffed well, but they’re not bursting at the seams so it’s quite possible you’ll want at least two. Soliz Tacos aren’t gourmet, but that’s the appeal. This family owned and operated taco shack is a favorite among students in the area, and you’ll be surprised at the business this little place gets around the lunch hour (aka you might have to fight for parking in the little lot they’ve got!). They serve them quick, they serve them hot. It’s nothing fancy, just good home cooked food at a price that won’t put a dent in your pocket. Their tacos have stood the test of time and are sure to be around for our enjoyment for many years to come. Enjoy how easy it is to use globalYP.net, yellow pages that are online.
Salsa’s Mexican Restaurant in Charlotte, NC has the best salsa I’ve ever tasted – even better than in Mexico – but that is not the only thing it has going for it. Every dish I’ve tried has been wonderful. My favorites are the California burrito, the Pollo con queso and the chimichangas. The ingredients are always so fresh and perfectly cooked. With extremely generous portions at very reasonable prices, you definitely get your money’s worth! The food is so good that even after filling up on the amazing salsa first, you can’t stop until your plate is clean. The staff is friendly and attentive – your glass is never empty – and the atmosphere is perfect to bring the family for a fun, casual night out. You can do all that without missing your favorite sports game on one of the many TVs throughout the restaurant or bar area. The rest of Charlotte must love this restaurant as much as I do as they have now expanded to their third location, although my favorite is the one near Ballantyne and Pineville. Cleanliness is a big factor for me too, and I’ve never found the restaurant or bathrooms unclean on any of my many visits at multiple locations. So when you’re in the mood for Mexican, you can’t go wrong by heading to Salsa’s! When you need something from the phonebook, you can’t go wrong with globalYP.net, an easy to use online directory.
If you’re looking for the tastiest burrito in Philadelphia, look no further than El Fuego. Now with two Center City locations, there’s no worry of going hungry at lunchtime. And just because you’re going for taste doesn’t mean you have to skimp on quantity—their burritos are large enough to require a strong grip. Their quick-serve counter allows you to pick and choose from various toppings, including several kinds of beans, salsa, sour cream, multiple cheeses, guacamole and the works. Their meats are fresh and flavorful, and the produce is always crisp and refreshing. I highly recommend their Chicken and Black Bean Burrito combination with a side of their tortilla chips and guacamole. It’s a challenge to finish the meal, it’s so large—but their selection of American and popular Mexican soft drinks makes washing lunch down a much easier task. If burritos aren’t your thing, they have chips, tacos, and many other platters to choose from. The seating is comfortable and you’re almost guaranteed to catch the staff cheering loudly at the soccer game on TV. For a quick lunch, you can’t beat El Fuego’s. The prices are reasonable, and you certainly get your money’s worth. I wholeheartedly recommend El Fuego to anyone looking for a filling meal and an enjoyable atmosphere. A week ago I was in Mesa, AZ on a business trip with a few of my colleagues. After our meeting in the morning we decided to get a bite to eat. After a small amount of research we decided to dine out at Los Dos Molinos. The first thing I noticed when we all walked through the door was the decor and music. There were some really nice tunes playing so it really made it seem like a real Mexican Restaurant. We were quickly greeted by a lovely young woman who had a nice smile on her face. She took us to our table and handed us our menu. Very soon after, she brought out a huge basket of chips and salsa. From that moment on everything about our visit to Los Dos Molinos was absolutely fantastic. The chips were warm and the salsa was chunky. The food we ordered was brought out to us very quickly as well. We only had about a ten minute wait even though there were about four of us that day. I had ordered a plate of enchiladas. They were gooey and cheesy – just the way I like them! I had a bite of my colleague’s spinach quesadilla and it was just as good as the enchilada I had. Each plate of food was served with a side of beans and fried rice. If you’re in Mesa, stop by! If you’re looking for anything else, stop by globalYP.net, online yellow pages.
I adore Mexican food, which is why I like to visit every restaurant I possibly can in order to experience the best Mexican food that my town of Boulder, CO has to offer. Recently I decided to visit AJI Restaurant. It was my first time visiting so I did not know what to expect. When I got to AJI Restaurant I was quickly seated by the waitress. She then brought me out a huge basket of delicious smelling chips and salsa. It also came with a small side of guacamole, which I thought was a nice touch since most restaurants only hand out the chips and salsa. The chips tasted fresh and I could tell that they had baked them right there in the restaurant. I ordered the cheese enchilada plate for my main meal. The food was cooked quickly because I received my order in around ten minutes. After I took a bite of my food I knew that this restaurant was a real winner. It tasted delicious and the cheese was of very high quality. They used corn tortillas, which is a lot more authentic than using flour tortillas for Mexican dishes. This made me happy because it had the taste I had been craving! Overall, I would say that AJI Restaurant is a very good place. The food was delicious and the service was really prompt. I think just about anyone who likes Mexican food would enjoy it here. Anyone can find places with globalYP.net, an easy to use online directory.
