luigi's pizza & italian kitchenWhen I think of a Pizzeria, I imagine an older Italian gentlemen hand cooking everything himself. Luigi’s Pizza & Italian Kitchen is a relatively new establishment in the world’s most famous beach, Daytona Beach, FL. It is located on Bike Week’s most populated street, Highway One! Though the store is new, Luigi is far from new to the business. Luigi hails from New York and, as it says on the menu, cooks all orders personally. This personal touch creates a reliable atmosphere to get the best, authentic, quality pizza that you can find in the state. Luigi offers far more than just amazing, quality pizza. Make sure to try out some favorite snacks like Cheese Fries, Eggplant Parmesan Subs, or my personal favorite, the Tomato Calzone! Luigi also offers premium dinners, as well as large catering style orders. The prices are absolutely amazing for food of this quality. Luigi easily beats the prices of large pizza chains, and definitely beats the quality as well. Luigi’s also offers quality Italian style desserts, such as New York cheesecake, Italian ice cream, and bottled specialty sodas. Do you and your family a favor and try out this amazing independent treasure! To find more Italian restaurants like this, visit globalYP.net, an online directory.

Have A Mouthful of Philly At Larry’s Steaks in Philadelphia, PA

larry's steaksPhiladelphia is the home of the cheesesteak! So, any trip through the City of Brotherly Love will uncover a lot of restaurants selling the famous sandwich. For those who are looking for a good cheesesteak at a place that is still a relatively undiscovered gem, look no further than Larry’s Steaks in Philadelphia, PA. The people who work there are friendly and efficient. All meals are cooked when you order and served hot off the grill. The prices at Larry’s are affordable for anyone and if you bring a friend, you can share a belly filler to save even more! Unlike some other cheesesteak places, Larry’s only uses real cheese. The key to their sandwich is that they mix the steak and cheese together, which means that your cheesesteak will not be dry and there will be a consistent taste throughout every bite. The rolls are soft and chewy. The atmosphere is also relaxed and there is always space to sit. However, do not let the name fool you. Larry’s serves far more than cheesesteaks. They also make hoagies, chicken, pizza and seafood. I have had some of their other offerings, and they do not disappoint. No matter what you order, you will be glad you went to Larry’s Steaks! Dig Into Unique Creations At Dean-O’s Pizza In Lafayette, LA

I only get back to Lafayette about once a year, and there are so many wonderful seafood options that it might seem tough to justify having one of my precious few meals at a pizza joint. It might seem tough, unless you have ever experienced the magnificence that is Dean-O’s Pizza! Alright, that sounds a little exaggerated, but Dean-O’s really does have some of the best pizza you will ever taste. Best of all, you won’t really be missing out on Cajun food if you’re on a short visit, because Dean-O’s best pizzas have definite Louisiana style and flair! My personal favorite has got to the Marie Leveau, with sautéed onions, peppers, and mounds of delicious crab meat. It’s a seafood feast and a pizza all at once! Another great option is the Cajun Executioner, loaded with hot Cajun sausage, shrimp, and peppers. If you’re a true carnivore, go for the T-Rex, loaded with just about every kind of meat imaginable. Dean-O’s has a different specialty pizza every month, and they’re always worth checking out – they add nice surprise and variety to an already excellent and varied menu. If you’re feeling responsible, go for the whole wheat, “guiltless” pizza. They also have some nice vegetarian options. Bottom line: for wonderful, abundant, affordable pizza in a homey, pleasant atmosphere, you just can’t beat Dean-O’s! For local business listings available online you can’t beat globalYP.net.

Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria Has The Perfect Deep Dish In Naperville, IL

http://www.flickr.com/photos/scaredykat/4255375789/Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria has become possibly my favorite restaurant in all of the Chicago-land area. As many of you know, Chicago is known for its deep dish pizza. Of course the area is filled with all sorts of pizza places, but none of them can match Lou’s. This particular location is always a great experience. Lou Malnati’s offers a large array of Italian food, specialty beverages, and delightful desserts. The service is wonderful, although some weekend nights can be busy, but the hostesses always give you an accurate time for your wait. The servers are great and the restaurant is family friendly. The prices are affordable, making Lou’s a wonderful place for a party, a night out, or even a date. Of course the best part is the pizza. Lou Malnati’s offers both thin crust and pan pizza. Both are beyond good but, the deep dish is perhaps the best pizza I’ve ever had. The wait for a fresh pie is about 30 minutes, but is entirely worth it. They also give you the option for butter crust or an assortment of toppings. Don’t have time to sit down and eat? Don’t worry, Lou’s offer pick up, delivery, and even frozen pizzas for a meal at home. Overall, if you like pizza and live in Illinois, Lou Malnati’s is an absolute must visit. If you like saving time, globalYP.net, an online directory, is an absolute must visit too.

Mama Nunz Italian Steakhouse Has Great Food In Greencastle, IN

Mama Nunz Italian Steakhouse is located on the campus of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. Their specialties are their pizza and wings, but they also make a succulent steak. The first time I walked into Mama Nunz, or “Nunzio’s” as many locals like to call it, I was greeted by the owner who makes it his business to seat every customer that walks in. The place isn’t very big, but the cozy atmosphere makes it a place you will want to return to after your initial experience. I have tried many of the dishes Mama Nunz has to offer, and I have not found one I wasn’t pleased with. The first time I was there I had a pepperoni calzone and some of their wings to go along with it. The calzone was amazing. Every bite was a deliciously cheesy experience and the wings were wonderfully flavored and served with a wet rag to wipe the sauce off of your face after you devour them. The prices are reasonable and if you are on campus to see a football game or just stopping in Greencastle for a visit I would definitely recommend grabbing a bite to eat at Mama Nunz. It is truly an experience you will not soon forget. Don’t forget to experience how easy it is to use globalYP.net, online yellow pages.

Papa Keno’s Is The Best Pizza In Lawrence, KS

Papa Keno's PizzaPapa Keno’s is one of the great places to eat in the college town of Lawrence, Kansas. Aside from having some of the best pizza around, they also have some of the best prices. One of my favorite things to order is the heavy meat slice. It’s only $3 per slice and the slices are really huge! They cook their pizzas in a brick oven, so they have that brick oven taste to them. The restaurant is always clean and it is conveniently located right in downtown Lawrence. They have a very cool menu that includes an abundance of items. My other favorite pizza is the Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza. If you are a fan of Canadian bacon you may want to try this restaurant because thy have the best! The vegetables that they put on some of their pizzas are always fresh, too. I can’t get my pizza from anywhere else but Papa Keno’s now! It is especially cool because there are only two locations of this restaurant. I love this restaurant and I would suggest it to anyone who is ever in the state of Kansas. Located in the heart of beautiful Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, Rick’s Dough Boys is great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Rick’s features a robust menu that is sure to have something everyone will like. From pizza by the slice to subs all made from fresh homemade dough, you can’t go wrong. Everything is clean and the service is very friendly and fast, even on busy nights. The most distinctive feature of Rick’s is the classics cars parked inside the restaurant. If you are a classic car fan or enjoy car shows it pays to stop by for a slice. Much of the customer area is themed with a classic car feel. From the old drive in posters to the engine block sitting on near the booths, you can’t help but feel like you are in the 1960s. Even though the display is impressive it still can’t outshine the food. Portions are sizeable and well prepared exactly how you like it. They also make exceptional salads, fantastic pastas, and some of the best wings in the area. Because they prepare the pizzas right up front you can actually sit and watch the chef make your pizza. Rick’s is also a good place to bring kids. They have some classic arcade machines and plenty of seating. The local newspaper and a couple of televisions are setup to help keep you informed and entertained while you wait. A large city parking lot is right next door so parking is easy to come by. Rick’s goes above and beyond in all aspects, making it one of the best places to stop when travelling through Elk County. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/NJG2M0OM-GbYnepqskpzRA?select=qzb9Ii31AAer-XIM0fw_ZQEast/West Bistro is a wonderful restaurant in a great restaurant town. As loaded with great dining establishments as Athens is, East/West is in a category of its own as a true world cuisine restaurant. You’ll find dishes reflecting a broad range of culinary traditions here – many Asian influenced, some Mediterranean influenced, but nearly all unique and creative. The great thing about East/West is that it really seems like many different restaurants in one – not only in terms of the different cuisines represented on their varied and intriguing menu, but also in terms of the different ways you can eat here. They offer a great tapas menu, which features such unlikely delights as ostrich parmesan alongside more common items, all expertly prepared. If you want something casual, like pizza or a sandwich, they can do that with verve and flair, presenting you with traditional dishes as well as some options you might not expect, like their Thai pizza. They have an array of wonderful pastas, as well, many of which represent some of the best examples of their creative fusion cuisine – the sweet and sour pork penne is a personal favorite. Entrees like the hangar steak and tuna tataki are wonderful, as well. For eclectic, creative cuisine in an elegant, inviting setting, East/West is the place to go in Athens! Gino’s East – The Only Place You Can Write On The Walls And Eat Deep Dish Pizza In Rolling Meadows, IL

Posted by tluke on February 21, 2010
Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

Gino's EastGino’s East has by far the best deep dish pizza in Chicago. I’m a student in New York but I always look forward to coming home and eating some fabulous deep dish pizza. I’ve been to most of the locations in the Chicagoland area and have never been disappointed in the 15 years I’ve been going there. The pizza crust is unique and delicious and the sauce is by far the best I’ve had. Their cheese deep dish is my favorite, but they also serve a signature sausage pizza. Instead of individual chunks of sausage, it comes as one very large patty, sounds crazy but it’s delicious. It usually takes around 40 minutes for the pizza to cook, but that’s because it cooked fresh when you order. Even better than the pizza is the environment. The walls are COVERED in paint and permanent marker signatures from visitors of the restaurant. I recommend bringing sharpies and if you’re feeling adventurous, acrylic paints to write all over the walls. Gino’s is also very kid-friendly. When I was little, I got a kick out of being able to write all over everything without getting in trouble. To find other great places in your area, visit globalYP.net, a local online directory.

Joey Tomato’s Has Tasty Takeout In Pine Bush, NY

Posted by Keri W. on February 19, 2010
Eating & Drinking Places / No Comments

http://www.flickr.com/photos/mesohungry/4103532026/After years of driving a half hour round trip just to bring home a fresh baked pizza, we decided to find something closer to home. Joey Tomato’s had been located in Pine Bush, NY for quite a while, but we had never tried it and neither had any of our friends. We decided to take a chance after receiving some coupons in the mail. Now we are kicking ourselves that we waited so long. Visually speaking, Joey Tomato’s isn’t exactly a “fine dining” establishment. Don’t get me wrong, the place is clean and the staff is always friendly and ready to help. But the dining area is very small, and the tables are located next to the front door, which can lend to chilled dining during the winter months. However, don’t let their simple shop design deter you from ordering take-out. Their pizza is among the best I’ve ever tasted. The crust is always perfect – crispy on the outside, warm and chewy on the inside, and never burnt. Their fresh-made sauce is seasoned perfectly, and the toppings are always well cooked and generously spread on the pizza. Bacon has always been a favorite topping in our household, and Joey Tomato’s is one of the few places in the county to offer it. In addition to their delicious pizza, they also offer a variety of Italian dishes, salads, sandwiches, and a kid’s menu. Their buffalo wings are a great addition to any pizza you order, and always taste freshly made when you get them home (they punch small holes in the container lid to allow steam to escape, so the wings remain crispy). If you live near Pine Bush, NY and have never tried Joey Tomato’s, don’t wait any longer. Don’t wait any longer to check out globalYP.net, yellow pages that are online.
