Sandy’s Savvy Chic Resale Boutique Has A Great Selection In Gainesville, FL

Posted by Keri W. on December 24, 2009
Retail Stores / No Comments

Sandy’s Savvy Chic Resale Boutique is the best place to go in Gainesville for gently used furniture and clothing. It is a spacious store that is very neatly organized (unlike many consignment or thrift stores where everything is jumbled onto shelves and hangers). This store has an enormous selection of children’s and adult clothing, accessories (purses and jewelry), children’s toys, furniture, and household odds and ends. Near the back of the store is the drop off area for consignment items. Sandy’s most often buys your items directly from you for cash, rather than consigning them, which is a nice benefit for the consigner (cash in hand). While you wait for the staff to review your items, you can take the time to look around. You never know what treasure you might find on a shelf or in a cabinet. I have made many purchases there. There are framed prints that appear brand new. There is a large assortment of DVD’s. There is a section devoted primarily to designer purses, many of which are in perfect condition, at over 50% less than retail prices (I saw Coach and Dooney and Bourke when I was there). This is truly a great store to shop in, and the staff is very professional. I highly recommend it! GlobalYP.net is a great place to find online yellow pages.

The Kid’s Rack Has Cute Clothes For Less In Champlin, MN

The Kid’s Rack is an owner-operated children’s resale shop specializing in gently used children’s clothing (preemie to junior sizes). It is a community-based business. They keep you well informed of all the great things Champlin and the surrounding area has to offer your families. They also carry hard-to-find new items as well, including Webkinz, Hair Accessories, Italian Charm Bracelets, and Croc-like shoes with fun charms. You will be extremely impressed with the prices at this shop. Although it’s a small place, there are lots of great clothing available. Kid’s Rack is the best place to find the items you need, when you actually need them. You can find off season items there. After a visit, your kids will be thrilled with the “new” clothes. You’ll love the designated play area for kids, so mom’s can get down to business. You can actually look at the clothes easily as they aren’t all bunched together as tightly as the “chain” stores in the cities. This is a great start up business with great products and the owner is SO friendly. If you take store credit for your goods versus cash, you receive 20% more toward your purchase. Kid To Kid Has Cute Clothes And More For Less In Las Vegas, NV

Kid to Kid is a great store to buy and sell used and new children’s items. The store is large, and has a big variety of items. They sell baby and children’s clothes, toys, books, furnishings and equipment as well as maternity items for moms. I love how they have a small enclosed area where your small children can play safely while you shop. It makes browsing very enjoyable when you don’t have to worry about fussy, bored kids. The prices are very reasonable and much lower than you would pay at retail. The merchandise is extremely well organized and well spaced, so you don’t have to struggle to look at the items. Everything is very clean and well taken care of. They do a great job of spotlighting cute outfits so you can always find an adorable, complete outfit right away. I think for resale stores, this one does a really good job of only taking high quality, well cared for items. They also have a small area for boutique items, like hair bows and jewelry, which make it nice to accessorize any new outfits you might find. You can also sell your items, for cash or store credit, making shopping even more affordable. Save time with globalYP.net, online yellow pages.

Crossroads Trading Company In Chicago, IL Carries Gently Used Fashions

Posted by Keri W. on October 30, 2009

crossroadsWhat mainly drew me to Crossroads Trading Company in the first place was that I heard they buy gently used name brand and designer clothes, which worked for me because I had quite a few items that either did not fit anymore or that I was just tired of. I have been in about five different times, and all of the times except one, I brought things to sell. Now, when they choose to buy items you bring in you have the choice of taking cash or taking a sort of voucher to use in the store (which is a higher percentage). I did take a voucher once because while I was waiting my turn to “sell” my clothes I was browsing around the shop and found quite a few things I liked and ending up paying more into buying stuff than what I got selling. Either way, whether you’re going in to sell or looking for some clothes, you will find a few cute trendy pieces. Plus, you can pick from not only clothes, but also shoes, belts and purses. I bought a fantastic Express trench jacket, in perfect condition for less than $20. At Express it would have easily been at least $80. You can easily find local listings online with globalYP.net.

Clothe Your Kids For Less At Kopy Cat Kids In Portage, MI

Posted by Keri W. on September 15, 2009
Retail Stores / No Comments

kopy_catI recently visited Kopy Cat Kids and I wish that I had discovered this lovely little consignment shop sooner. Kopy Cat Kids is an adorable children’s clothing resale shop where moms can purchase almost anything they need to dress their children. The bonus to this store, besides the incredibly friendly employees, is the play area for your children along with a television playing children’s movies. You can actually shop in peace while your children play or sit and watch a movie! Compared to other local resale shops I believe Kopy Cat Kids is very reasonably priced and has quality clothing. Places such as the Salvation Army have inexpensive clothing but many times it is stained or overly worn. This is not what you will find at Kopy Cat Kids. Many items look brand new for half the price you would pay at the store. In addition to the clothing, shoes, dance wear, and jackets, they also have children’s toys for sale. Many of these toys are still in their original boxes and can be quite a bargain. They also have baby items that any new mom could appreciate. I found a co-sleeper for half the price and it still had the original box. Since most people are on a budget, I would highly recommend Kopy Cat Kids to anyone with children. The store is clean and cute, the staff is friendly, and you can get great deals. To save even more you can bring in your gently used and cleaned clothing to sell, and use the money to buy a whole new wardrobe! To save time use globalYP.net, an online directory, the next time you need to find something in a phone book.

Moove Yourself To The Purple Cow In Baton Rouge, LA For Everything Affordable

Posted by Keri W. on September 03, 2009
Retail Stores / No Comments

purple_cowWant to shop ’till you drop and still go home with money in your pocket? Then I suggest you visit The Purple Cow. A great resale shop located in Baton Rouge, LA at 6586 Jones Creek Rd, the store offers designer clothing for men, women and children. The prices are unbeatable. For example a Van Hausen men’s shirt was 6.99!! A Dooney & Burk purse with minor blemishes cost all of 5 dollars. There are also shoes, belts, knick-knacks, bedding, and a huge selection of used books. On certain holidays they hold special sales. For example, on Easter you got to open a plastic egg and got either a 10, 20 or 40% off entire purchase coupon inside the egg. You can even join their email list to receive sporadic 10% off coupons via email. During Christmas holidays, the Purple Cow has wreaths, Christmas craft books, stockings and lots of Christmas decor to choose from. Likewise, Easter brought stuffed bunnies and baskets galore. Everything in the store is well-organized by size and there are 2 fitting rooms. There is even a jewelry counter in front! Did I mention that the employees are friendly? This is hands down my favorite store. To find your new favorite store, try searching on globalYP.net, local directory listings online.
