The Pines – A Great Bar Filled With Great People In Chelsea, VT

The PinesThe Pines in Chelsea, Vermont is an excellent bar in a peaceful and rural setting. The bar is right in the middle of downtown Chelsea – a town with plenty of quaintness and charm. It may not be the most high-tech bar that you’ve ever been to (no HDTV’s here), but it has two pool tables and someone that is always willing to play. Usually for St. Patrick’s Day you can get green beer and they also serve plenty of Guinness – which is on tap of course. The bar is usually filled on St. Patty’s Day with plenty of people ready to have a great time. The jukebox is always cranking out plenty of music and the bartenders will always serve until closing. The kitchen has some excellent fare as well so you won’t leave hungry. It wouldn’t be a bold statement to say that The Pines is the best bar in Chelsea – it is in fact the only bar in Chelsea and it is always full of the best of people. In my opinion that is what makes or breaks a bar – its not the décor or the fancy drinks – it is the people. To find other great places this Holiday, visit globalYP.net, a local online directory.

The Village Grind Takes Away Your Daily Grind In Oswego, IL

Village Grind Coffee & TeaI recently tried The Village Grind Coffee & Tea shop and to my surprise, it was great. It’s cozy, yet welcoming and enjoyable. I ordered the Iced Cappuccino, which is actually one of my new favorites. The service was wonderful. The drink was done immediately, made fresh, and tasted great! As far as prices were concerned they are very reasonable. Some items did seem overpriced but for a cup of Joe and perhaps some sort of treat, you couldn’t go wrong. The shop is filled with a few places to sit, some newspapers, and all sorts of knick knacks. I’m sure some individuals just go there for home decorations. There are several rooms to the place, each rather small. I could imagine this place is rather cramped during rushes but overall was fine at any other time. I could see in the summer they sell all sorts of ice cream which just gives me an excuse to go when it is warm out. The shop is located downtown Oswego right down Main St. This location is great, it allows you to take your coffee and go to the library, sit near the park, or enjoy the river. Overall, I highly recommend this place; I might just head over there to read a book sometime soon, you should too!
