Spa Enso is a decadent yet reasonably priced spa and hair salon, located in the Legacy Shopping Center in San Antonio, TX. Spa Enso has built a base of loyal devotees with its commitment to providing a meticulously clean, soothing, and tranquil environment for relaxation and rejuvenation. Spa Enso is especially known for its soothing pedicures. An express pedicure can set you back as little as $25. Deluxe pedicures are slightly pricier, in the $70 range, but always include scrubs and leg and foot massages. All pedicures come with the use of one of Spa Enso’s delicious massage chairs. When you get a pedicure, they also soak your feet in warm water while you relax in a massaging chair. The workers are always friendly and nice, eager to serve you; they are the picture of efficiency. The nice thing about Kelly’s is you don’t have to book an appointment, walk-ins are always welcome. The wait is never long; usually by the time that you have picked out your color, they have a spot ready and open for you. If you visit regularly, they will keep a bottle of polish especially for you. I love St Cloud VIP Nail & Spa, it is by far my favorite nail salon in St Cloud! From the first time I visited I was hooked! The owners are so nice and very helpful, they remembered me from the first time I came in. They always take the time to chat and make me feel welcomed. Every employee provides impeccable service and I have never had any complaints with the service I received or the way I was treated. Each customer receives their own box of brand new supplies so that everything they use on you is clean, sanitary and has only been used by you. They store the box for you and it’s there every time you come in. They also provide free drinks (tea, coffee, soda, wine, margaritas etc.) and give fantastic back and neck massages after they finish with your nails. The store is very clean and upscale looking, but the prices are reasonable. They have a “menu” with many different types of treatments, such as a Chocolate Pedicure, waxing, and selections for kids! Walk ins are welcome, but you can also make appointments. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves to relax and be pampered! Turning Point Beauty College is the BEST deal for getting a haircut. My girls have been going to this beauty school to get their haircuts for years. The staff is wonderful and because it’s a Beauty College there are professionals to check and make sure you get the perfect haircut at a much better deal than you would get for the same service in a salon or spa. The shop is beautiful and always so clean. The girls that do the haircuts are always friendly and helpful. They treat the girls kindly and the management always comes over to see how everything is going. It’s refreshing to see a staff with such nice customer service. They do it all. They cut hair, style hair, offer perms, coloring, bleaching, waxing, nails and pedicures. They even have a tanning bed. If you’re looking to go to beauty college this is a great place to learn. Everyone is so relaxed and friendly. This is such a great place that I recommend making an appointment because they are always packed full of people waiting to get in to see someone. New Model Salon is one of the best salons to get a trim, cut, manicure and pedicure, perm or whatever hairstyle you desire for a good price. The employees of the shop are very nice and tend to the needs of their customers. It’s a very busy place, but don’t get me wrong, it’s worth the wait. All of their employees are skilled and trained professionals. Throughout the day you’ll find a diverse demographic of people coming in for service being that the shop is located in South Sacramento. From a simple haircut, to an elaborate perm, a wax job or even a clean shave, each service is done with perfection. Every Friday I go to New Model Salon for their haircut service and every visit there is always enjoyable. Whether it’s seeing new customers, catching up with the stylists about life, or getting a new hairstyle, it’s always so much fun. The prices are wonderful and fit my budget (you can get a haircut for just seven dollars, that of course doesn’t include the tip, but it sure does beat other places). It’s not one of your fancy big chain salon spots you see on TV, but rather a local “hole-in-the-wall” type spot. It might not have all the fancy stuff that you’d find in a huge chain, but I can honestly say that their services are as good as any other salon. Distinction Hair Studio at 30 Warren St in Concord, NH is definitely a cut above the rest! The studio is an Aveda concept salon, so you know they are always using high-quality, natural products on your hair and nails. They also offer spa treatments, such as facials, body wraps, waxing, and eyebrow and eyelash tinting. Plus, they offer special wedding services, haircuts for men, and even haircuts for kids. The stylists and owner, Lorie, are wonderful to deal with, and are very competent in what they do. The Aveda company requires that the stylists receive continuing training, so they are always on the cutting edge. I receive a lot of complements on my hair, and my highlights (done with foils) look very natural. The price for a haircut and wash ($33) is reasonable compared to other stylists in the area. The salon is kept very clean with a very modern, Soho-like look to the décor. I am very pleased with Distinction’s service, price, and quality of styling. Choosing a nail salon is really a personal thing, and personally I can recommend Pro-Nails in Pacifica, CA. Located at 88 Eureka Sq in Pacifica, they offer the standard mani/pedi, as well as waxing and other salon services. Everyone who works at Pro-Nails is polite and upbeat, which can make the awkward situation of being pampered by a stranger a little bit less strained. Other places I’ve been to do a great job too, but it doesn’t last more than a day before it mysteriously starts to chip off prematurely. I don’t know how they do it, but I’ve never had a problem with my nails being randomly destroyed after spending time and money getting them done at Pro-Nails. Eyebrow waxing is also something that’s a personal preference, but I think we can all agree that you don’t want to walk out with pencil thin brows or burn marks. They say that eyebrows frame the face, so it’s important to trust the person doing the framing, and I’ve never been disappointed or appalled after getting my eyebrows done there (you know the feeling, when they hand you the mirror and part of you almost dies inside because you’re going to have to spend months growing out their mistake, their mistake that’s on your face for all to see). I would recommend making an appointment earlier in the day, as they get pretty packed, but they do strive to fit everyone in and get you in and out. I’m kind of a germ freak, so trust me when I say that they have high standards of cleanliness and keep everything sanitary.
